Who else is suffering messages from weirdos on dating sites/apps? Don't get me wrong I can handle mental illness within reason but I am getting some extreme cases like somebody believing they're an animal, somebody convinced the world is ending, somebody wanting to be raped and another convinced that the cloud lines from planes are a government conspiracy. Also getting a lot of attention from people with autism and I am curious if it's due to me being physically disabled... Do any of you get this?

I get a lot of mostly white men messaging me internationally wanting to talk sex or try to get me to masturbate for them on webcam, ask to meet them when they come here to be their personal companion for their stay.

I haven't met any wierdos, however I have met plenty of people on dating apps etc who just stop responding mid conversation. Like I get that they might not be interested but just bailing mid conversation seems quite rude, especially when they initiated said conversation.

I thought about using dating websites, but I've always held back on it because, really, how can you tell who's real and who's a bot? And say if you speak to someone that is real, how do you know they're being honest?
Anyway, OT, no, I've never had any such messages...although I did have a Facebook friend my brother and I used to go to high school with admit he's masturbated to photos of me and implied to post more so he could keep jacking off. He would even go as far as to try to get my attention and - this is just my guess - descend into a panic when I didn't respond...even though I was on the clock at work. I don't really remember going to school with him, but from my brother told me he's not exactly the brightest bulb, but that doesn't stop the men in the family from teasing me about him being my boyfriend when the subject gets brought up on occasion. Even months from now, when I blocked him on Facebook, he still tries to get me to talk to him. I just ignore him, mainly because I'm not interested in him and his admission offended me (I know, I know, it was probably an overreaction, but still).
