As has been seen in several posts when some of the more polarized posters on this forum have deflected the blame to liberals/left, the non-polarized posters don't care: if you are guilty of compromising the safety and security of the USA, you should be punished. Caring about whether the guilty parties are left/right/liberal/conservative should NOT matter. He's cooperating and been given immunity to any further charges as long as he continues to cooperate so the only charge against him will be the lying to the FBI one. Moreover his "good behavior", a.k.a cooperation will be taken into account on that as well so I doubt he'll be spending too much time behind bars. Hell, he met with Sessions, who is on Trump's side more than most, and I'd bet large amounts of real money Sessions very specifically said why this would be HyperDeath(tm) if he tried.
