James Ellsworth released by the WWE

    It was a good run.

James Ellsworth entered WWE as fodder for Braun Strowman’s push back when The Monster Among Men was still seen mostly as an internet joke and not a fan favorite. He went on to spend a considerable amount of time in the WWE title picture, and then became a staple of the SmackDown Women’s championship scene... including a VERY controversial role in the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

After splitting with his friend-who-is-a-girl/mistress Carmella, he spent the European tour getting his ass kicked in a variety of ways by the ladies of the blue brand. And that was apparently all creative had for the Maryland native.

Ellsworth’s full-time contract with the company was announced last November, so it’s possible this was only ever going to be a year-long partnership. No matter why it’s ending now, he’s a much bigger star than he was before he showed up to deliver his “any man with two hands has a fighting chance” promo, and should have no trouble making a living on the indies from here on out.
WWE's most talented performer has been released from his contract. It's too bad because survivor series is coming up.

the wrestling industry is a brutal one. almost every single wrestler comes out of it needing daily massive amounts of pain pills or having some kind of damage to their backs.

Mick Foley had a hip replacement this year I believe. A friend of mine met him at a convention last month and he said he had just gotten off crutches.

And people still scream "IT'S ALL FAKE!!". It's staged/scripted but not fake.

But there is a 100% chance of divas wearing no wardrobe with the multitudes of free porn on the net :P

I got to meet him in the WWF days when I was a kid. Nicest dude.

Brutal job considering the low pay most of them receive.
(This is based on an article I read a few years ago stating the average yearly contract is roughly 50k)

Agreed. Some of them do well if they're at the top but people at the low end barely make endsmeat.

    I'm just giving you crap

I got emotional when a major character was killed off on Supernatural, and Kevin Spacey fucked up House of Cards for me. Supernatural might as well be a soap opera for nerds.

Supernatural is one of the biggest disappointments in my life. It was a staple of mine back in the day, but it's nosedived so hard that I find it unwatchable at this point. There's something to be said for good things ending before they become bad things.

Yeah my cousin loves WWE so he makes it fun to watch for how emotional he gets. You’re right the passion is something else very much a soap opera.

As for Super Natural that still on? Holy shit!

Yeah, it's gone on far too long at this point. Time for the series to end gracefully.

I'd love to see the actors doing some other work.

It's no different than people getting emotional about Game of Thrones. I see people going ape shit over that show all the time.
