I would argue that more private citizens would donate to the DNC if they didn't believe that the DNC is so connected to Wall Street and corporate America. The party has to try and understand why fundraising is bad in order to fix it. You might disagree with my assessment, but there still has to be an attempt at comprehension.

I would also argue that until we fix money in politics, we are going to have a really, really tough time actually making progress on healthcare, education, income inequality, and the other big issues that are facing us. I don't generally believe in purity tests- I understand the need to build coalitions, to compromise, and accept that our system is generally set up for slow, incremental change- but on this issue, I'm absolutely going to demand it.
