Garrison: Do Invasion Quests Expire?

Dear WoW Community,

Just a quick question, do you know if the Invasion quest at your own Garrison expires at any point?

I know that I'm able to initiate the quest at any time, I'm just not sure if I missed anything about it expiring at the next week/raid reset (Wednesday).

Whilst, I've already done the Shadow Council invasion and have successfully completed it. I'm pondering on grinding another Invasion event and holding it till next reset where I'm eligible for the epic Bag rewards.

Any further clarification towards my inquiry is appreciated.

I had a couple last week while farming rep. Did the two of them, got resources/gold on the first one and nothing on the second one. Had another pop up later and decided to save if for this week, on tuesday it disappeared. So I'm thinking they only last the week and reset with raid lockouts.
