Holy shit, Subtlety is the poster child for pants on head retarded buttonitis. It's a landfill of situational modal abilities. It makes hunters look elegant.

Now, the pruning might be wrong, but the idea of pruning the holy ever loving fuck out of subtlety is RIGHT.

Blizzard realized that rogues haven't gotten their heads around mastering the combo change yet, so they removed all of our abilities to compensate.

Just to confirm.. is this thread based on actual alpha play? Or on the blog posts about specs where they only mentioned the most significant elements of the rotation for each spec, not all the situational and CC stuff?

Sub literally had ambush/backstab which could be bound with a single macro, rupture, evis, and slice and dice. Hemo wasn't a requirement in the rotation. So you had 4-5 abilities? How is pruning warranted????

You realize that many of us prefer to play a spec that can't be played with 4 buttons, right...?

Subtlety is awesome. I have played it for 11 and MoP and WoD, as much as I have problems with other aspects of these expansions, have been great for subtlety. So much to do, so many ways to make plays, such nuance to its damage and utility.
