No, the system was a good idea, it was just not utilized correctly. Alot of the honor talents blizz put in were filler and just useless. The honor talents, along with pvp templates, could have been used as a way to balance pvp significantly better, and make pvp feel different than pve by offering different skills, skills caps, and different playstyles through the honor talent system
but, templates werent utilized as well as they could have been and honor talents felt half done upon release. hopefully 7.1.5 fixes the honor talent portion of it at least.

I like them, gives some fun pvp related skills without messing pve up.
The only thing I'd change, is unlocking a row at a time instead of a talent.
