Just simple question? Is 7.4 planned?
Or gonna be 7.3 and thats it?

Guess 3.5 will be the end patch for legion. Maybe 7.3.5.5 or something.
Calm your tits, we only just got a boat load more content in 7.2.
And it's possible, but we'll probably not find out until BlizzCon.

I think 7.3.5 will be around January and 8.0 prepatch after next summer, so yeah, I expect 7.4. It may be "medium" patch with:
a) some closure for artifact weapon, refund paragon from 7.3, add few strong regular traits, this time with no paragon
b) same with legendaries, it's the end of expansion, so they could add some other way to get them
c) 1 boss raid would be pretty pointless, but new dungeon would be great,
d) some questline about Argus raid aftermatch that will lead into 8.0 story.
If patch like this will land around March/April we would avoid content drought this time.
more than likely yes... i suspect a 7.2.5 for TOS release or there abouts. 7.3 in argues and some new 5 mans. 7.3.5 for balance / world stuffs. 7.4 arugs raid and a 7.4.5 patch before 8.0
my worry is current pacing i dont see how they will avoid another year long content (Raid) drought at the end. Its never bothered me in the past but i know it does a lot of folks.

7.3 is already confirmed to be us going to Argus, 7.4 will be something likely tied to the Kul'tiras assets, likely a teaser for expansion to follow after Legion.
If you mean 4.1, and not 6.1, then that was a major patch.
Isn't it ironic how education is important, yet people forget all about it when they visit the internet?
No, that's not what I meant. But as you said, Cata had no mini patches except 4.1. I just wanted to point out, that back in the day, even the smaller patches like 7.1.5 (it added Brawler's Guild and other things) would probably have been a numbered patch. Just look at 2.1 which gave us voice chat.
7.2.5 open the raid
7.3 Argus quest hub
7.3.5 open the Argus raid
Pre-patch: Legion Arrives, We Fail at the Broken Shore, Demon Hunter's appear.
7.0: EN, Dungeons, Broken isles, Suramar, 4/5 Pillars collected.
7.1: ToV/Kara happens, We take down Helya.
7.1.5: Nighthold, Gul'dan Dies, 5th Pillar Gained, Illidan re-appears.
7.2: Broken Shore 11 Week Questline, Kil'jaeden Hangs up on Strongest being in the Universe, We take Cathedral, Meph dies, We re-take the Shore.
7.2.5: ToS Raid, We put in the Pillars, We battle the Fallen Avatar, We take out the deceiver on his Command Ship at the Nether.
7.3: Argus happens, we assault the Legion's capital, Sargeras Facepalms, and does things himself.
7.3.5: Argus Raid, and the Fall of The Legion (Hoping for Sargeras as End boss).

I swear man, Legion was a 3 Part thing.
Part 1: The Burning Crusade.
Part 2: Warlords of Draenor, and the Legion's preparations for their Invasion. (MoP is part 1 of the WOD Story-line. Sure, Wrathion was warning us about the Legion, but that really shouldn't count in the Legion Saga).
Part 3: Legion, And The Burning Crusade's Downfall.

Considering the fact that we're only 7 months into the expansion and Blizzard makes new updates pretty quickly, I guess there will be patch 7.4.
Hopefully at 7.4 we are back to Alliance vs Horde and get this hole neutral boring crap behind us and build up some great faction characters again.
I would like there to be a wrap up patch for once, that would be 7.4. 7.3 really needs to have a raid. 7.3 can't afford to be a 7.1
