    Laptop Ram question

Hey guys I ordered https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...roductId=35390 for my mother's laptop.

It currently has 2x 512mb, with a maximum of 2GB. I didn't realise the one I ordered was just one 2GB stick. Can I put the 2GB stick in, and leave one slot open? I understand there is a slight performance loss, but will it be ok?

Tell you what aliens, come at me! I know C++!! /endrant

As long as its compatible memory, you should be fine.
