Ipv4 to Ipv6... is it worth it?

My question is simple. Could changing from an ipv4 to ipv6 connection decrease my latency/lag? Or will I not see a difference at all?

No speed difference whatsoever in IPv4 vs IPv6.

IPv6 just allows more addresses to computers, so it's static vs dynamic IP question for home users in most cases.

    Trolling should be.

Not really. If your ISP doesn't support IPv6 (most don't), you will have to set up a 6to4 tunneling service. You will also need to reconstruct your network to support IPv6. Most consumer routers still don't support it. You can try using a third-party firmware to enable support, but that can be risky.

But, if you want to make that trek, have at it.
