A polar bear would destroy the shit out of anything short of an Elephant or Rhino, or possibly a hippo/salt water crocodile.

they are the biggest land predators, their jaws are so big they can literally hold a basketball in their mouth (which would be instantly popped by 3 inch teeth), they are really fast, really aggressive, they are enormously strong, and they have giant sharp ass claws. Also, their naturally long fur and thick skin and fat layer would also provide naturally tough armor.

Grizzly Bears can take a .45 magnum shot in the forehead and live, bear skin is ridiculously thick and their bones are too... so I'm thinking a polar bear, which is the biggest most badass bear out there... with huge razor sharp teeth and claws, would probably be able to kill even a whole pack of tigers.

Well Siberian tigers regularly hunt down and kill the local bear population in Siberia. But polar bears are the most deadly members of the ursidae family. Hmmmmm

Not that I consider myself some kind of bear-expert, I had always heard the Kodiak Bear or Grizzly were in fact the most dangerous ones of the bear family. *shrug* I also heard that eons ago, so maybe science found out something in the years since.
