Don't take this fool seriously. The game is very well made, with a great evolving story. It also has a great content cycle. Everyone can find something they really enjoy about, but as the fool pointed out however inelegantly, you can also find things you dislike. The only really bad thing going on in the game atm, is the disastrously designed hunt system.

Give the game a chance and make your own opinion.

The story is actually pretty atrocious, especially when you get to 50 and they have you rubbing chocobos and rescuing peasants just to unlock primal battles. Despite that, there is a ton of stuff to do now and they keep adding patches every couple months, a new class is coming out around next month too.

Friendship Circlet is permanent item, afaik. unless you're talking about the level gain, which is up til lvl 25.

Till pv 25 and useable on all classes/characters.

Nope, you can stop playing for awhile and then come back and it'll still be there. And any new character you make should get the items as well.

I would say Balmung but that's only if you want to wait til the wee, wee hours of the morning to try and make a character (and even then you might have to wait a few days). I think Sorrior is on Adamantoise? I believe its one of the smaller but still pretty decent servers.

Mhmm and i also run a very small FC and know alot of people.

Another one i would recommend is Jenova though mostly sp4 players.

Yah, I found it pretty demoralizing that you finish off the Galear in a friggin leveling raid and are then left in total limbo as far as "bad guys" are concerned.
I liked Gaius.
