I want to get both, I eventually will, but what do I start with. I am really torn on this one. Any arguments to sway me one or the other MMO forum?

Skyrim comes first right? Well then there you have it! :P

Skyrim, how can you even ask? ಠ_ಠ
The name alone should be enough of an argument. But then again, when first you've started playing it, you might never get to playing anything else, so I don't know...
As a die-hard Zelda fan, the answer should be ridiculously obvious.
I've also never been crazy about Elder Scrolls games.
SKYRIIIM!
Im a huge zelda fan, but the fact of the matter is you will ALWAYS get more play time out of an elder scrolls game than you will from a zelda game; theres simply more there. I must have spent hundreds of hours on Oblivion alone.
Cho’Gall: Cairne Bloodhoof is dead? Did we kill him?
Deathwing: No. The Grimtotems weakened him with poison, and then Garrosh accidentally hacked him to death with an axe during a heated political discussion.
Cho’Gall: How do you accidentally kill someone with an axe?
The problem is, if I buy Skyrim, I won't stop playing Skyrim. I'll probably take a month off MMOs just to explore. Skyward Swords release date is about 9 days after Skyrim, so if I buy Skyrim first, I won't even play Skyward Sword.Skyrim comes first right? Well then there you have it! :P
My inner kid is screaming Skyward Sword but it also depends on your preferred playstyle. I'm the type to get Rayman: Origins over MW3 or BF3 simply because I prefer that more laid back and care-free gameplay.
Personally i would take zelda over skyrim. Somebody was able to beat skyrim in 2 hours. I dont care who it is, that should not be possible.
After sinking tons of hours into Morrowind I wasn't too impressed with Oblivion, nor for that matter Fallout 3. I've got a feeling Skyrim will see an improvement, but I may just be falling for the hype. Besides, it's Elder Scrolls, if all else fails you can just walk about for hours and have fun exploring.
wow this is a hard one the elder scrolls series has always been a favorite but i have been playing zelda since i was a kid back when it was on the nes so skyward sword for shure
I'd say Skyward Sword. It's supposedly the best Zelda yet and from all of the previews it just looks amazing. I've never seen the appeal of Elder Scrolls personally but you could probably do the main story or LoZ then devote all of your time to Skyrim and finish up the rest of Skyward Sword in the future.
I'm not sure if that would be your playstyle but it's worth a shot.
It's QA and developers who can do it. I'm sure Devs and QA from Nintendo could do the same in Skyward Sword. You really can't judge anything about Skyrim based on the devs beating it in a 2 hour speed run other than they know the game inside and out.Bethesda traditionally holds a speedrun competition to celebrate when a game ships. When Fallout 3 finally headed off to store shelves, Bernstein managed a time of 1 hours and 15 minutes, again pipping his opponent to the post by a matter of seconds. No cheats are allowed, and the participants must draw on every ounce of their insider knowledge of the game to zip through it in such a short space of time.

Personally, not a huge fan of Zelda, never played a lot of Elder Scrolls (pretty much the extent is the opening of Oblivion), and I say Skyrim.
"Imagine coming across a mentally disabled person who was not only drunk, high, but had a full frontal lobotomy leaving little to no intelligence left in their body.
He would be NORMAL, compared to me."
I'm a Zelda fan so I preordered Skyward Sword. The Elder Scrolls games never really interested me, too open imo though I know there are plenty of people who like that.
