You see it when you grab the gold out of your mailbox and when you open up the auctions tab.

I found TSM (Tradeskillmaster) with the TSM Accounting addin to working best.
/tsm
click on Accounting
And you can see sales data for a particular item or auction, how many you've sold, at what price, to whom, ...
