The torrent is downloading right now. The hype behind this game better be worth it for the time wasted.

BF3 has a lot of replay value. I have like 30+ hours already and just destroy people in tanks. Lot of fun. I'll get MW3 in a month or so when steam has their 1 day sale or whatever. $40 is better than $60 for something I won't play much. I know how the single player plot advances so basically I want it to be a little 6 hour movie I get to make.

Skyward Sword. Get it thank me later. Of those three? Skyrim.

Skyrim if you enjoy RPG a lot. And if you play PC, definately go Skyrim since other games are just too hackable I heard.

Skyrim single player is OVER 300 hours. THINK ya can get some fun out of that.

ok well tbh its not the best poll but i have all 3 of them and as much as i loved the older cod games these new ones just dont cut it for me, im a oldskool battlefield vet and in MY eyes BF3 blows MW3 out the water. iv never played any of the other obliv games so its all new to me but its not that bad tbh. still getting used to it.

If you invested 1000+ hours in MW2 like I did it's a no brainer; MW3

    BF3 > Skyrim >> MW3

    However,

BF3 is really good fun for the lovely graphics, engine, unlocks and team play (unless you are a sniper) then just troll everyone!
MW3 is great since it is living up to its old standards of fast paced modern warfare! lots of easy fast kills and easy to dive straight back into the action with a lot of new features!

    They're all great games.

So it's all about what you think you'd enjoy the most. RPG's, Squad based massive battles, or intense smaller battles.

Thanks to Elyaan for the great sig!

I disagree. It took me close to a year to get bored of MW2. It took me about the same time or so in Black Ops. It took me 2 hours to hate MW3. Sledgehammer's decision on map design was the worst in gaming history.

I'm sorry if you actually think MW3 is better than BF3 on anything hands down BF3 beats it in everyway.
Why can't you (and also a lot of people on the forums in general when it comes to BF3 vs MW3 threads) understand that there can be differences in opinions?. So you like BF3 over MW3, perfectly acceptable, but to say you feel sorry for someone because they happen to think MW3 does some things better than BF3 and that differs from your opinion is neither constructive or necessary (imo).

I've played both BF3 and MW3 on the PC (I was even on the BF3 Alpha and Beta), and I can honestly say I still prefer MW3. I personally believe that the choice between BF3 and MW3 comes down (typically) to playstyle.

When you play a FPS do you want a slower gameplay, bigger maps, and vehicles? If so BF3 might be a better fit.

If you prefer a faster paced gameplay, smaller maps, and more run and gun gameplay, then MW3 might be a better fit.

I personally am loving almost all the new maps. But then again I prefer the run and gun style with my SMG's instead of trying to set up shop with a sniper rifle (I read your posts in the MW3 Megathread so I know why you hate the maps :P)

But I will say I have been sniped plenty of times in MW3 by people who aren't quickscoping, so I can say there are still plenty of viable snipe spots.

Yeah, I guess I just never understood the game bashing that goes on. They're both great games in their own way.

BF3 is a much larger playing field, more interactive (vehicles and whatnot), and the graphics do beat MW3 by a longshot to be honest.

Whereas MW3 offers a much more personal experience since you can customize so much more about your weapons and your killstreaks (especially now that they added the support and specialist packages) to specifically tailor kits to your exact gameplay. And the graphics may not be as good as BF3's, but there's also something to be said about a game that still looks great (imo of course), and can run completely maxed out @ 1920x1080 on a single GTX 460.

Are you and Bro and enjoy FPS's = MW3
Do you hate Bros but still enjoy FPS's = BF3
Do you want to play what could possibly be the greatest game ever made in the history of man = Skyrim

If you have any interest in Skyrim at all, pick it up. I've only played it for a little bit this morning, but it really seems like you can't go wrong playing it for the rest of the year and beyond. If you're leaning more towards MW3/BF3, go for Battlefield. It's by far the more solid of the two games, particularly on the PC.

I have all three, and in the end I'd say its a toss up between BF3 and Skyrim. I played MW3 for like 4 hours and decided that BF3 is better in pretty much everyway. Wish I could return MW3 since I'll most likely never play it again as long as I have BF3. Not saying MW3 is bad, its not, but BF3 is just more polished and fun in my opinion. I'm only two hours into Skyrim but its living up to the hype and cam tell its going to be amazing when I get deeper in.

If you like RPG's more, go with Skyrim. If you like intense fps multiplayers, get BF3 no question.

I personally find MW3 to be more intense since it's a more frantic gameplay, but that's just my opinion :P
