    List your GPU history?

How many GPUs have you gone through your entire life? List em all here!

    1. 3D Labs Permedia 2 (1-2 years)(Came with PowerSpec computer)
    2. ATI All-In-Wonder Pro (1 year) (Because my dad thought a TV tuner card would be cool)
    3. ATI Radeon 7000VE (1 year)
    4. XFX Nvidia Geforce 2 MX440 (1-3 days) (Noticed a capacitor had been broken off b4 I used it) (Sold to friend he was happy)
    5. BFG Tech Nvidia Geforce 2 MX440 (half a year)
    6. 2x SLi (old version) 3DFX Voodoo 2's (PCI cards that add extra oomph to games) (half a year) (Combined with MX440)
    7. BFG Tech Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 (1.5-2 years)
    8. XFX Nvidia Geforce 7800GT (2 years)
    9. Nvidia Geforce 8600m GT (Laptop R.I.P.) (3 years)
    10. BFG Tech Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+ OC (2 years)
    11. PNY Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+ (SLi'd to #10) (1 year)
    12. ATI Radeon 6990m Cross-fire (Alienware M18x laptop) (1 month) (Current Laptop)
    13. PNY Nvidia Geforce 560Ti OC2 (1 week)
    14. PNY Nvidia Geforce 560Ti OC2 (SLi'd to #13) (Current setup) (1 day)

I've come a long way from the Permedia 2 which ran Unreal, Everquest, Rainbow 6, Knights and Merchants, Starcraft + Broodwars, Settlers 3, Sim City 2000, and more. My personal faves were the Radeon 7000VE (dual display FTW) (Biggest improvement since the Permedia 2 for back then), the 2 Voodoo 2's (enabled some graphics options in Diablo 2 that weren't available previously), and my 9800 GTX's (First time I can say I purchased a top of the line card. No the GX2 does not count). Worst card would be the FX5200 hands down. The MX440's could have been bad too but I didn't spend too much on them ($70) so I couldn't complain and I replaced them shortly with the FX5200. FX5200 barely hung onto most games (World of Warcraft).

I am afraid I won't be able to list them all here, as I run through quite a few, but I can at least go to the beginning and the end. But yeah, my first PC was an Amstrad PC 1640 (8086 Processor, 1 Floppy, 20 Mbyte HDD, 640Kbyte Ram)

    1. Build in Hercules (monochrome
    2. Build in EGA (1 and 2 the same computer, only monochrome monitors used the Hercules Mode, while color monitors used the EGA mode)
    3. Generic VGA
    4. 3d FX Voodoo (I think)
    5. GeForce2 MX
After that a various mix of slowly better ATI and GeForce cards until I settled on ATI and own currently:
    Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6950

    1. Nvidia 6600 something - Around the time of Oblivion release
    2. Nvidia 7650 something - Couple months after oblivion release
    3. Nvidia 9600 something - Replacement for a few months after my 7650 fried.
    4. Nvidia GTX470 - Won at 3rd October last year in a SC2 tournament.

Reason i say something is because Nvidia used GT, GTS and GTX differently prior to the 200 series.

    On board something or another.
First ever thing I upgraded in a PC was going to...
    Nvidia 6600
New Pre built PC from PC world 8600GT (Yes a mistake but new to PC's as mainly was console player)
    Currently sat on a GTX260
Yes I need an upgrade, bought a thermaltake Case with a P35 Gigabyte Mobo + my previous CPU (Q6600 quad core OC to 3.4ghz).

I'm learning things before I go ahead and start on a project PC... Learnt most the basics so far!

    1. Integrated graphics in a Windows 98 NT 1998 Gateway. (Powered games like Age of Empires and RCT. Computer crashed out in early 2005.)
    2. Integrated graphics in a 2005 Dell desktop. x_x (Early 2005 through January 2009.)
    3. Integrated graphics in an early 2009 Gateway desktop. (Probably less than a month or two, January of 2009.)
    4. BFG Tech NVidia 9800 GT GeForce 1GB GDDR3 OC. (Lasted about a year and 4 months, bought in Jan or Feb 2009.)
    5. PNY NVidia 9800 GT GeForce 1GB GDDR3 Green Edition. (Bought I believe in May 2010, such a waste, this is when I should have gotten a 460, used for about 1 year and 2 months, lives on in a friend's computer.)
    6. MSI NVidia GTX 560 Ti 1GB GDDR5 Twin Frozr II. (My king-pin, bought in June 2011.)

I definitely took quite a jump, going from the NVidia 9xxx series all the way to the 5xx series. It was damned night and day difference, too!
