Prejudice about certain classes in LFD

When LFD tool finally picks me and i get in heroic ZA/ZG, first I look what classes im with. And when I see ret pally or dk tank, I assume they are either bad or pvp geared and bad (before even looking at gear).
All other classes generally speaking are fine, some ppl dont do stellar dps or healing, but they do their job. But pvp geared dk tank is nightmare to heal (esp on big trash pack) and ret pallies either do VERY low dps or stand in fire constantly. And it is so in about 80% of cases. Even huntards (once dispised class) are doing fine...
So, do any of you have similar thoughts about other player classes which you would better not play with?
Also, why are ret pallies so atractive to bad players?

Assa Rouges are broken. I play one as an alt and I'll be lucky to hit 15k dps. Even with a gear lvl average of 359's and some 378's. Maybe i just suck at it...but i doubt it. Hit capped, everything else into mastery for spell damage from poisons. Rotation spot on.

When subt rogues are out dps'ing the assa's - you know they messed up they spec somewhere. I'm currently in a new 10 man raid team - and we are looking for warriors, Ele Shammies or frost DK for raiding. No Ret pallies or rogues welcome. I have my doubts about the DK personally, but a brez is awesome if you don't have a druid or lock.

Well, our assasination rogue is doing atleast 31k dps in Firelands heroic, seems decent if you ask me.

On Topic:
I don't like hunters since I don't think I've got a good hunter in a zandalari. Or, I might've got a good one, but then he is a cocky prick. The other day I came in a group with a hunter with 1 spirit trinket and 1 stam trinket, fully gemmed stamina. He had 170k hp with all the buffs from random zandalari and did about 2-3k dps. He then blamed the tank when he stood in fire and died because he thought he got aggro somehow.

Doesn't matter what class you play, skill > all else. Utility is nice, but it's just that, utility.

Don't get me wrong there exceptions to the rule. But we got a pala tank and a pala healer - do we really want a 3rd pally?! nope.
And i've yet to see a good rogue on my server...the best i've seen is a subt rogue who is silly good.

And yes - this new team failed so hard last night I almost quit wow. How do the healers not follow a kiting tank on shanox when she's enraged and at 5% till kill? Wipefest. Realm X-fer i think.

Maybe the good paladins are all playing tanks and healers for shorter queues... I've not even seen many rets at all in the few LFDs I've done. The one's I have seen do tend to be bad. The few who could DPS seemed to have a macro that targets the one mob that doesn't need killing yet. :/

I'm not gonna lie when you queue up and see a ret paladin 9/10 times they are terrible. The other 1 time they are absolutely beast.

mainly cause retards are stupid... and retards are attracted to things .. like them... like cows.. and .paladins.. then they combine both to become... aka retardins..
then they pvp cause they cant figure out their rotation so they decide to lvl to 85 by entering bgs and afking while moving 1-2 feet to the left so they dont get kicked..

and there u have it.. a lvl 85 tauren ret pally.

I que up as a tank on my Dk all the time, I have a mix of 365/359 gear, and my druid healer friend spends most of the time in ZA/ZG's doing dps and tossing the occassional group heal. Dk's are like a manual transmission race car, anyone can get behind the wheel and make it go down the road, but it takes skill and lots of time/practice to master.

Ret pally #1 dps spec next tier, rogues are godmode as well, unholy/frost is good and provides great utility.

Saying no to rets/rogues is just so dumb......a good sub/combat rogue will be almost essential on any good roster next tier.

Mostly I can't blame them too much as R-Sham is in a horrible spot right now.

As for a particular class that I see in LFD(On the very few times I ever run it) that are just downright bad, I can't really narrow it down to just one. I see idiots in all flavors. Tanks with double brewfest stam trinkets, DK's with VoA, Mages with spirit gear, Healers with hit gear/gemming straight spirit/wearing cloth as a mail/plate user, Hunters with landslide, so on and so forthe.

When I queue as ret you'll get someone terrible but I think that's ok since I'm best tank eu. My awesome tanking prowess has dragged more than my fair share of terrible others through those dungeons so I deserve some laid back suckage every now and then. PS: I'm terrible because I can't be bothered getting really down with the RNG fest that is ret dps. Ret dps is like buses, first nothing happens then everything procs at once. I just like to breathe through my mouth as I watch the pretty proc spell effects and hammer my keyboard with my fist. It's how most of the dps I tank for play, after all.

Assassination has a stupidly high ramp-up time, such that in fights lasting only a minute or two (i.e. anything you'll see in a 5 man), their DPS doesn't shine.
In raids, however - where encounters aren't over in the duration of a cooldown - their DPS builds up rather impressively.
