Skyrim. Should I buy it?

I've been thinking of buying Skyrim, but I have been hesitant about it. How buggy is it? Crashes, showstoppers, etc? I remember Oblivion having loads of bugs, and still has, without any unofficial patches, which is kinda sad.

So, is it worth it to buy it now, or wait for a couple of patches (hopefully official ones)?
