Mana issues as Ret

It's next to impossible to go OOM as ret; the only thing that can really cause that is using both Consecration and Holy Radiance at once. Just don't use Consecration at all outside of massive AOE packs, and you should never go OOM.

Perhaps, but currently it has a 3 second cooldown where crusader strike has a 4.5 (at 0% haste), so it may fit with the rotation. Only time will tell, however.

Well, if you have a streak of procs or when you are using your CDs under Heroism - you are skipping judgements and CS eats almost all of your mana.

glyph of the ascetic crusader could solve that. its better to choose that over a damage buff if it means you will be able to keep up your mana and be able to deal damage. but still, you shouldnt have mana problems as ret. make a modifier on an ability used in your nuke, ctrl click it or something and it will use divine plea or something as well if its so hard to use 1 sngle judgement in the nuke. pressing the buttons dealing damage is not useful without mana.

Ascetic Crusader doesn't help with that. In 35 seconds (Zealotry) with Heroism - we can do 12xCS. 12 * 7% = 84% of our base mana (not accounting for Replenishment) - and our base mana is our max mana minus kings and intellect buff. If we had less than 100% mana before that - we are screwed (even with Replenishment). And Divine Plea may be already on CD. Also it's not an instant mana injection.
The best way to deal with it is to remember to force judgement once in a while. Cause you are right "no mana - no dps". But I was just trying to say that it is possible to have mana issues as ret.

dont hard cast exo, only time you should be using it is on art of war procs

Exorcism should only be used with AoW proc, never hard cast it. Also consecration should be used with 17k+ mana.
