What's Your Skyrim Playstyle?

How do you play skyrim? Do you charge around in heavy armor with melee weapons as a warrior? Do you like to sneak around and get the opener without the enemy knowing? Or do you like casting the various spells available in skyrim?

I personally wear full heavy armor, and have played the full game using 2 handed weapons. It makes some encounters extremely hard but I love it. I dont use mage and I only use bows when absolutely needed. (Though I do use restoration spells.) My favorite things to fight are giants because you basically cant get hit once and trying to melee one is pretty dangerous and challenging.

Also I realize I messed up spelling on the warrior option but I don't know how to edit the poll.

I play exactly the same as you. Full set of the heavy Orcish plate armor with my 2h skyforged steel greatsword. I wanted to be an archer but the amount of arrows it requires is way more than I could even find in stores and having to pick up my spent arrows off the ground 1 by 1 was ridiculous. The only spells I use is the resto 50 heal spell, clarvoyiance, and sometimes the 40 armor boost spell, oh and transmute iron to gold ore.

I also smith a lot of stuff. I'm up to 83 smithing already.

thief all the way. nothing like doming people with my bow or wtfbackstabbing for 15x damage. also. stealing stuff is cool.

I was going the mage/caster route, but find myself running out of mana like whoa. I'll have to mix match shields/1h with the caster to be a menace I think.

i play archer/ caster. when i'm using my bow i wear heavy armour, as there is nothing to keep a ga (except for using my surroundings, which is sometimes lacking) and i wear cloth for casting, it really makes a diffrence, also, i use stealth all the time. it's seriously nice with bow :P

I have yet to play the game however whenever i do probably a mixture of tank style sword and board / healing spells

Don't have the game/my new computer yet. Will at the end of this week though Will probably go with some sort of battlemage fiasco...

My main character is an Imperial "Battlemage". He wears heavy armor and uses a sword/shield most of the time, but I've also got points in Destruction and Alteration magic. However, as I level and discover/improve shouts, I find that I use my actual magic less and less.

I'm doing a bit of all three this time around. Combining stealth bow kills with 1h/flame after detection is pretty nifty. I like being versatile.

I have 2 saves atm; first one is a battlemage style, heavy armor, one handed, destruction, restoration and enchanting. Second one is a thief with sneak, one handed, archery and not sure what other paths to go for yet.

I don't like the choices! I'm a High-Elf Mage! I use Destruction, Restoration and Alteration. But I don't wear any armor! I don't wear Light Armor, I wear robes, Circlet with normal gloves and boots. Alteration has a perk that no armor = double ____flesh buff. (So I have 120 AR rating now )

I'm going Nord duel wield with Heavy Armor. Games like this I normally go thief style and steal everything I can but I figured I would do something a bit different. My next play through I'm going Mage, never played a full caster before.

Just not really a fan of melee combat, ever, so that thief is more like archer/ranger.

I started out all heavy armor and 2h weapons with an imperial, but I'm finding myself using a bow and trying out magic also. So I'm a jack of all trades.

My 1st play-through is heavy armor with a 2h, and switch to dual wielding healing magic to recover HP and Stamina as needed.

How so? I was told that one of the quests near the end was bugged and not-completable (but that may have been for the 360 version only).

In games like Skyrim, I've always personally loved the thief playstyle. Just getting behind someone, they have no clue I'm there, I pull out my bow/knife, and just one shot them with that backstab sneak crit...it's just amazing, I love it.
