Cross-faction planet areas

I was wondering if Sith get to quest or visit Coruscant at any point in the game? Or is the whole planet kill on sight for Sith, on all server types? Likewise, do the Republic players have the ability to visit Dromund Kaas without being attacked?

You won't be able to visit your enemies capitol planet (how would your ship get anywhere near it without getting destroyed?) at all. They might add some part in the story where you sneak over there but the devs have said that you can't go raid their capitol planets.

kinda bummed by that, but it would need some odd mechanic or story behind sneaking on to the empire/republic's hub world. it could be incredible though. u get a whole fleet of ships somehow, have an epic space battle, then land and tear the crap outta the planet.

Enemy homeworlds won't be visitable (for now?). It doesn't fit into the story that well, since both sides are in great danger from the other, and there is no way in hell they would let the enemy come near them, let alone walk around their cities. Especially after what happened in Deceived. Billions of inhabitants on those planets are being protected.

I think it would be neat though in a future expansion to be able to purchase entry codes from the black market, or complete a quest chain with someone "in the know", who can get you there. But then it shouldn't be something you just do whenever you feel like it - it would need to be a major undertaking, or very expensive ..
