    TigerDirect Biostar TP67B+B3 Intel P67 Motherboard (LGA1155)

This a decent motherboard worth getting? Currently trying to piece a system and doing some comparisons.

    Like this:

    Compared to
    SuperBiiz Intel Core i7 Processor i7-2600K $293 + TigerDirect Biostar TP67B+B3 Intel P67 Motherboard (LGA1155)

The 240GB SSD presumably has the wrong price listed, doesn't really make sense for both 120GB and 240GB SSDs to have the same price, does it?

    EDIT:

Would COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2 CM690 II Advanced Black Steel ATX be worth listing?

Not a super mobo, good for a cheap i3 build though.

I've been looking for a new monitor for a long time. While I've been thinking of getting one of the Asus monitors (probably the 25") I was wondering if the IPS screens are worth it? I haven't done much research into them, but from what I heard, the color is far superb when compared to the TN screens (which I assume the Asus screens are). Would it be preferable to go with one of the Dell IPS screens? The price seems very reasonable at $230 for the 24". Will it be noticeably better than the Asus? I'm only going to be using it for gaming and movies and have not upgraded my computer for 2-3 years.

Edit: After checking the Dell U2412M, it appears to be $350, not $230. The U2312HM is correct. Thus, I ask whether the 23" IPS would be worth getting over the 25" Asus simply because it is an IPS screen? With my current setup, I highly doubt my GPU will use either monitor well, as I'm still running with a GeForce 9600 that has served me surprisingly well.

Not all of the sales are live yet, but it will be $300. I recently got an IPS panel, and the color is very nice. I would go with a 23 or 24" IPS over a 25" TN, but to play any games you will need a new GPU.

I've currently only been playing wow and have been getting reasonably FPS, albeit my monitor is still only 17". I think I will go with the 23" IPS over the 24" just since the price is lower and I've found that they are both reasonably similar in performance. I am planning on getting a 570 in the future, though. Thank you.

That is a pretty reasonable sales price on the Dell 24". Only a few dollars higher than my typically reseller price.

My last rig fried and I had an OEM copy of windows on it. Anyone know of any good deals on Windows 7 64bit anywhere? I'd prefer non-OEM, but I'll settle for OEM again.

How does the 300$ Diamond Radeon HD5970 stack up against the linked HIS HD6970?

My brief research indicates that the 5970 is better, confirm please?

Looking for a good black-friday deal on a "gaming" laptop. I mainly game on my custom built desktop at home but I also get the opportunity to play at work. Right now I use a MacBook Pro (2007) which is fine for WoW but with SW:TOR coming out and Skyrim out, I want a PC to be able to play all three.

I checked Amazon and Newegg and didn't see all that much... either really cheap crap laptops or really expensive ones that are barely marked down.

The Dell Ultrasharp U2711 is also on sale for $699, insane deal. I am very tempted to get it.

Also, most of the Newegg sales also apply to newegg.ca

NCIX's Black Friday sale will start tonight I believe.

Any type of job with "on call" wait time tends to allow this. From firefighter to power company emergency response to even office worker waiting on another team to finish up their part of a project so your team can do their job. Our sales team used to be notorious for it because they'd only work hard during the morning, then bribe people with expensive lunches during lunch time. After that it was pissing around until it was time to bribe people with expensive dinners. No one cared cause they earned a small salary but made most of their cash with commissions.

Any opinions on Neweggs BF deal on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...F2011_listing?

I cant find any reviews for it, but I am comparing it to what I have intended to purchase, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150561, and it will only cost me an extra $30. Is the NVIDIA worth the price difference?

Offgamers wont sell WoW for the Black Friday?

Thanks Chaud! I'm trying to find a good graphics card that's better than my current nvidia 8800 GT. It doesn't need to be too fancy, and preferably it would be an nvidia. Any suggestions?

Fucking hell, I've been thinking about getting a new desktop for awhile, specially now that Skyrim has come out and I can't play it because I don't have a good enough PC and I COMPLETELY FORGOT about black Friday deals

This is kind of late but I found this http://tinyurl.com/6oznhw8 at Best Buy. (Tiny URL because the URL was 126 characters originally) I know the Graphics card is shit but I was wondering if anything else is shit and if I could get a nice graphics card and switch it out? (also give me a range of graphics cards if you would please)

The only problem I see with that is there is no information on the motherboard unless you guys can do some detective work based on the other features. After Dinner I will hopefully get around to calling them and see what the motherboard is, if I don't find a better deal or you guys don't figure it out.

Basic criteria or aim for a Graphics Card: If it can play Skyrim in it's highest settings.

An nvidia GTX 560 Ti is a nice step up from a 6870, so it would definitely be worth the extra $30.

A 5970 will outperform a 6970 as long as the game supports crossfire and utilizes both GPUs on the 5970.
