been Horde since vanilla and have always HATED alliance. reading the books led me to make a night elf druid and read every...single...quest.

That's a good idea. I got the audiobook of "Wolfheart" not too long ago and it was alright (honestly it's way too much about Malfurion, Tyrande, and Ashenvale and way too little about Varian Wrynn as you'd expect it to be), but a lot of the other WoW books are really good.

You can start with "The Last Guardian" and "Rise of the Horde". Good reads.
