Unleash is a 25 man raiding guild that consists of old very hardcore raiders that now feel we don't have the time to raid 6 days/week anymore. Most of us have raided since early vanilla and we do take some pride in saying we got a whole bunch of very experienced players in our team.
Since our thirst for downing endgame content haven't diminished at all just because we raid fewer days a week, we need to expect a lot of our members. Considering we only raid 2 nights a week we need members that learn fast and are highly competent at their role.
4.2 re-cap
Throughout Firelands we've maintained steady progression, achieving 6/7 Heroic prior to the nerfs applied mid-September.
Due to attendance issues throughout late October & early November, Ragnaros 25hc progression was put on ice as of last week (16th November) and for the sake of server status we put forwards a separate 10 man taskforce to get 7/7hc in the 10 man field - which was achieved after just 1 night of 10m hc rag 'attempts'.
Although we are exceptionally capable as a 10 man capacity, we feel that the real challenge still sits in 25m raiding, and we will therefore continue to raid as a 25 man guild (until hell freezes over).
4.3 and beyond
On that note, we want to ensure we have recruited a sufficient number of recruits to bolster our ranks for 4.3, and maintain the momentum we will have from patch-day, to the day we stick our swords/axe/maces/paws in to heroic (Madness of) Deathwing's head.
We expect you to be able to come to all raids. We only raid Wednesdays and Sundays 1900-0000 servertime. Demanding 100% might sound harsh but when it's only 2 days a week, a demand like that is justified.
We understand there can be exceptions. Your grandma might die (once), wife giving birth (twice?) or other possible onetimers but in general raiding 2 days a week is a must for applying.
When it comes to loot we have a zero-sum dkp-system. Any recruit joins as trial and though you still earn dkp, members will have lootprio over you until we feel your trial period is over.
What we offer you in return is a guild of expert players with a thirst for progress. We understand the need for a real life and value quality above quantity when it comes to raid hours. We're a international guild with a pool of players with tons of experience, a sense of humor and a relaxed attitude.
