Great, while farming HKs in TP (we took their flag and stood by their GY) a group of 5 ppl from the same guild didn't like it and reported me away enough times to actually be kicked from the bg and baned 3h.

you have objectives in a BG guys you pvp while you do those objectives its a game games always have objectives for you to do, while your doing the killing dont they? rescue the good people while you shoot the bad people in the face?
guard the crate while you shoot the bad people in the face?
take the suit case to shady jim while you shoot bad guys in the face?
WoW is a game with stuff to do while you kill like any other game if you dont do those things your not playing it properly sorry.
if you want just hks get a grp together and go storm a capitals gates and wait there you'll get a bunch of horde to farm sooner or later

Apparently a Rogue can't sit there in stealth by the flag for too long because he'll get booted & suspended. Great.

Unjust ban in my opinion. Sure there are certain objectives which must be completed in a BG, but you're still indirectly helping others complete those by ruthlessly slaying the enemies.

It's almost as if you're supposed to hand in the flag once you've got it, what do they think this is, Warsong Gulch?

People who just try to grind out HKs by holding the flag are annoying. Really sucks when you have an entire enemy team trying to get Wrecking Ball.
You then have three choices when this happens. Alt tab while they farm you, pitifully try to fight back or run away from the graveyard and sit around as a ghost. None of these three options are fun when you want to be fighting in a Battleground. Alternatively, you could of course just leave, but why should you lose your Honour bonus and get a 15 minute Deserter debuff just because the other team want to farm your graveyard?

Admittedly, I have farmed graveyards a few times in WSG/TPs, but normally not for very long, since I'd rather just end the game and move onto a new Battleground.

you had the flag didet want to turn it in, as you wantet to famr hks, so you wastet the time of your 9 other teammates, some of them reports you afk, the system kicks you fast, as it dose with anyone that has been votet afk alot, so its not your first time being votet out for afking.

the system will ban you for 3 hours if you have been votet afk enof times, as it will think you are a bot.

I think you deserved the ban - for ruining the game for others, both teammates and enemys . Great system that can identify players like you.

You missed the part where he said that they were purposefully not completing that objective, just so they could farm kills.

If they were to farm the opponents graveyard, while two other people ran along capturing the flag, I would completely agree with you. You're pinning the opponents back so that they can't touch your flag or your flag carrier.

Flat out removal from a BG doesn't happen because enough people say so, it happens via trends.

If you were removed, it means you've been reported for non-participation in the past. Don't let the sob story fool you, this isn't a first offense.

Completely agree with this. I've never done that and I never will. I see it as a waste of time. What's so fun about graveyard camping? Nothing. It's stupid, especially when you're purposely not capturing the flag.

He wasnt carrying the flag at all, I was and he was healing me shitloads at the GY. The other people in our group had allready voted one of our played out of the bg since they didnt like him, note he was not banned but kicked while fighting another player which should not happen, and they then started voting for laps. In the end he got kicked, banned for three hours, just for standing at the GY healing me and the 3 others from our guild.

So when this did not happend to any of our other guildmembers, it clearly has something to do with the 5 other in our group voted enough times to get them out of the group.

thats a lie, the other team cannot get you banned for killing them, bliizard put a timer on those bgs so you cant kill them for long - if you ware banned you were reportet afk by your team, and if you were banned this was not the first or secund time you were reportet afk, more likly the 10th.

and yes when you have been votet afk enof times and removed enof times from the bg, than your flagged as a bot, and next time more then 1 player reports you afk you get instant removed no 1 min warning.

Yes as i've said, our teammates(the other group of 5 ppl from X guild) were reporting us(the ppl i signed with).
They were spaming "report player away". First on our mage (who was instant kicked after a number of "Inactive" debuffs but not baned) and later the same on me. (several "Inactive" debuffs before the instant removal)

So don't abuse the rules of BG's, and you won't get kicked. BG's random or not are a STRATEGY based game, and it's already obvious with the 4.3 incentives to bring "serious" PVPers back into the Random BG's that the days of mindlessly farming HK's and getting to laugh about what a badass you were for corpse camping respawns at a fucking GY are pretty much dead in the water. They want games played the way they're supposed to be played, not wait for players to find their own dumbass ways of taking a 20 minute game and making it last 40 minutes or more.

Ban was worthy, the only thing I can see as being fucked up, is they should've gone through the log and banned all your guildies too, the only problem, as earlier mentioned is that they use a trend program to spot it, just like fast food joints run to find theft in sales. You matched their trend material, so stop fucking healing at GY's continuously, corpse camper, and play the game.
