I posted over 40, mainly because I'm not gonna do archy on my alchemist alt, and my main is eng/inscription.... Though I'm still doing it for the claw pet and bug mount :P neither of which I have gotten yet.

2nd jar for me. lvled archeology on my hunter, then found out the recipe was BoP, so had to redo arch on my Mage for the recipe. When the first jar failed I almost quit. Since then, I've gotten the Professor title, 22 rares, and every pet except the hand. I really want it for pet battling. Now that there're new dungeons I'll work on it again while queueing.

I just got mine today. It was my 15th Canopic Jar... I used a shadow priest in fully leveled in alchemy, archaeology, and herbalism professions since mining first jar. Hope this helps!

Wowhead.com reports 2% drop rate, but it's scewed from non-alchemists opening jars, so it's a much higher drop rate (guessing 10-15%)..

20ish if I remember right. Got the bug mount as my 5th rare (never got the staff). The first few jars were exciting, but every soapstone necklace in between sucked the joy from my heart.

I got it in the 6:th jar but considering how many of the other artifacts I solved it felt more like the 100:th.

I managed to get both the pet and the mount in the hunt though so well, the grind wasn't for nothing.
