What JC patterns to buy [4.3]

So as you all may know, patch 4.3 is lurking behind the corner which means there will be epic gems.

I got a something to discuss, what gems do you think most people will need? I mean what gems will the JC's out there earn most fee-cash from?
Im thinking: Int, Str, Agi, Mastery.

Any ideas on the purple/orange/green gems?

Also, is it worth to buy meta gem patterns?

Pure gems will drop very fast because everyone will cut it.
    I think about agi/int+haste, int+spi/haste/crit etc.

    IMO

Just check what specc needs what gem

I'd imagine something like tihs: Red: Int/Str/Agi
    Yellow: Mastery
Blue: Who the fuck needs a blue gem
    Orange: Int+haste/Str+crit/Agi+crit/Agi+haste
    Purple: Int+hit/Int+spirit/Str+hit/Agi+hit
    Green: Mastery+Stam

Red, orange and purple tend to sell the best. AFAIK, there's two options when it comes to the patterns. You can just buy the pattern you want straight up for 4 JC tokens, or gamble a random one for 3 tokens. I'll just gamble until I have enough tokens to buy all these recipes, so hopefully I'll get a few 'cheaper' along the way.

    Reds:
    Delicate (Agility)
    Bold (Strength)
    Brilliant (Intellect)

    Oranges:
    Artful (Int/Mastery)
    Reckless (Int/Haste)
    Potent (Int/Crit)
    Deft (Agility/Haste)

    Maybe some PvP ones, too:
    Resplendent, Willful, Lucent

    Purples:
    Purified (Int/Spirit)
    Veiled (Int/Hit)
    Etched (Strength/Hit)
    Glinting (Agility/Hit)
    Shifting (Agility/Stam)

Dont prioritize Pvp gems, as of now gems will drop from raids, meaning people might go for epic pvp gems towards the end of the patch if they already epicgemmed their pve gear.

Mixed gems will be a good investment for your tokens, i'll be getting those first and then going fo the straight cuts like delicate/brilliant/bold/mastery/stam/dodge/parry ect

    Things like orange Adept/Fine/Polished/Reckless/Stalwart/Artful
    Purple Defender's/Purified/Shifting/Glinting/Etched/
    Green Lightning/Puissant/Regal/

yea i think your right the "pure" stat gems usually sell the best so I would go for those first... Especially the damage ones, I would go for Intellect first as it will be demanded both from ranged dps as well as casters casters but melee dps on the other hand are divided between agility and strength

My server is very strange - it's actually more profitable to use yellow and blue gems to make PVP rings/necks.

    Wow you missed the boat.

Pyrite will NOT be dropping epic gems... the only way to get epic gems is from the new Dragon Soul raid.

You kidding me, why I am a jc then? I only can make money now if I raid and get a recipe to sell gems??

You're doing JC wrong. Right now jewelcrafters that hoarded gems prepatch are making a killing on most servers. If you are relying only on epic gems to make money I am afraid you will be sorely disappointed.

Boyfriend/fury warrior tells me 20 str/crit gems are also mighty good, Inscribed Ember I think. I also make fierce and fine embers and they are selling decently. What's still selling for peanuts is almost all green, blue and yellow cuts, some going as low as 5g for a cut gem.

Personally, I bought the gems I use for my mainspec.
