    You're a 90s kid if:

Not sure if there's a topic like this yet, but my gf found this on facebook and it rung all too true.

If you're 15 or under the age of 15 you shouldn't read this; and if you do, you should not repost.

Just because you were born in 97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid. It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons... I'm sorry, but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

    You're a 90s kid if:
    ...
    You remember watching:
    -Kenan and Kel
    -Doug
    -Ren & Stimpy
    -Pinky and the Brain
    -AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!
    -Rockos modern Life
    -Animaniacs
    -Gargoyles
-Tom and Jerry [when they didnt talk]
    -Hey Arnold
    -Out of the Box
-Bear in the Big Blue House

You've ever ended a sentence with the word PSYCHE!

    You remember:
    -Step by Step
    -Family Matters
    -Dinosaurs (not the momma! Lol)
    -Boy Meets World

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

    When everything was settled by:
    -rock paper scissors
-bubble gum bubble gum in a dish
    -miss mary mack

When kick ball was something you did everyday!!

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape.

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular.

You always wanted to send in a tape to Americas Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.

    You remember watching:
    -The Magic School Bus
    -Wishbone
    -Reading Rainbow
    -Ghostwriter on PBS

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool.

You played with Silly Puddy and Sticky Tac that you stole from the teachers walls.

You remember those Wheres Waldo books.

Those awsome buzz lightyear shoes that light up.

    You remember watching:
    -The 1st Batman
    -Aladdin
    -Ninja Turtles
    -Ghost Busters

    You remember Ring Pops!!!

If you remember when every thing was da BOMB!

You remember boom boxes . vs. cd players

    You played and/or collected Pogs!!!

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere u went

You watched the original cartoons of
    -Rugrats
    -Wild Thornberrys
    -Power Rangers
    -Rocket Power.

All your school supplies were Lisa Frank brand

    If you collected those:
    -Beanie Babies
-Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon cards
-Coins with the states on them
    -Carebears
-Silver dollars, which were cool to have -Everyone watched the WB

If you even know what an original walkman is..

You know the Macarena by heart

Talk to the hand. . .enough said

You went to McDonalds to play in the play place

    ..Before the MySpace frenzy.....

Before the Internet & text messaging ......

    Before Sidekicks & iPods .

    Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360

    Before Spongebob .....

When light up sneakers were cool and you had spiral spring shoelaces

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs

    When gas was $1.

When we recorded stuff on VCR

    You had slap bracelets!

You Actually played outside until it was dark!

    Way back...

-Before we realized all this would eventually disappear...

Post if you have any other additions you would make but aren't listed.

For me, it's the original DBZ :>

About 75% of that stuff applies to me.

Magic School Bus was pretty much the greatest educational cartoon ever.

I remember a lot of this stuff. I don't remember a lot of those television shows. Guess I was the outdoors 90's kid?

Holy crap, it's been so long since I've heard bubble gum bubble gum in a dish. I don't even remember how it worked!
There are so many frivolous things in this world.

Born in '92, don't remember most shows, but my parents didn't let me watch too much TV, Saturday morning cartoons of course...
    Most everything else though, yeah...

I will have plenty of time to have my nostalgia trips when i'm old and have nothing else to do but sit and wait for my death in a retirement home.
and until then... well my sig sums it up somewhat...

Tom and Jerry talk now...? What the hell?

Also, I don't think anyone who was a 90s kid (as in born in the 90s) would have cared about gas prices when there were 10 or fewer years old.

A lot of those things are still around and prominent among kids under the age of 15 so that's a silly disclaimer to put at start.

    /shut down nostalgia

For me the biggest things were Mortal Kombat on Sega (I think...or was it the N64?...don't remember); an older family friend used to sneak it over and we used to play it on super low volume so our parents wouldn't know we were playing uber violent video games. Oh and Dragon Ball Z at the end of that decade when I came to America. I missed out on most of that stuff in the middle of the decade cause it really wasn't as heavily emphasized in Pakistan. I remember watching Swat Cats there, don't remember seeing it when I came to America.

I remember back in 98/99 I think it was when I used to scoff and people who loved Pokemon. Then I fell into that trap. Played Magic for a while and Yugioh but people still do all three of those things.

You know I watched the Sunday morning cartoons about a year ago.... I feel bad for the kids nowadays.

Also, you are a 90s kid if you and your friends had a sleep over on Saturday just so you could all watch Pokemon Sunday morning.
and if you hated going to church because it meant you had to miss all the great Sunday cartoons.

EDIT: Also having one of those digivices where you shook it up to level up and stuff.... took that thing everywhere.

Born in 87 myself, yay me.

Hmm several things on that list I have no idea what is! :P
I blame the list beeing to "American", and beeing that I am from little Norway we obviously didnt have all that. Still I can remember most things mentioned in that list.

Kinda crazy to think of now, that I remember when Internet became widespread. And Now I could hardly immagine beeing without it!

And lets not mention clothing and hairstyles! *shrug*
