me, I'd never change my name, because I'd just forget the next day, and when people started calling me the new name, I'd look at them like they were space aliens, and they'd have to remind me, and I'd still forget, and they'd stop being my friends...

my mother wanted to name me taj i would have liked that over being named after my father..

In my country "tadge", just pronounced taj is a rude name for a penis (such as d***), so I wouldn't advise coming here

I would most likely change to a name of some of my ancestors, I especially like two of them. My grandfathers middle name "Otelius" and my great uncle's name "Noranus".
Also always liked the Name "Tyler", and no that's not my real name - My real name is Kenneth :P

So hereby I shall be called "Noranus Otelius", I could deffinatly see myself have such a name. My mom would never allow me to use her fathers middle name though, maybe for some of my future kids.


I wouldnt mind ditching one of my last names, because it's annoying to be called by my father's last name when I never had any contact with him or he's family.
Example, I'f I go to any bank or whatever, and say my name, but use my other last name instead. They will always say "euhm, did you mean *fathers last name* ?"
And I go *sigh*, yes....
Oh and I have an annoying long name, first name is 7 letters, last names are 6 and 7. Quite the mouthfull when calling doctors etc and I need to present my full name >_>
