Meh-meh because that's how it's read in norwegian.
H at the end just to illustrate that it isn't "me-me" as in the word me. I am not actually saying "Meh!".
It rhymes with cream, which only leaves ONE correct pronunciation.
meem...is that even a question? Never heard it pronounced AN other way
I always called my grandmother Meme, since I was a baby. Always have just said me-me. *shrugs*
This always used to bother me, I always said meh-meh but I wasn't sure so I looked it up, its meem.
I've always pronounced it "mem," like the French word for "same."
Meme should be pronouced like "scream".
I pronounce it "Me-Me" even though I do know it is supposed to be pronounced "Meem" because every time I say the latter people always ask me what it is. >.>
Meem, like 'me-eam'
Meh-Meh or Meh-May.
Wat, people pronouncing "meme" meem?! :C
Even if you didn't know the origins of the word, that it was a neologism meaning a little bit of idea like a gene is to genetics, there's no sound reason for an English speaker to think it would be pronounced "mee-mee'. I get thinking it would be pronounced 'may-may' because I speak Spanish (poorly) as my second language and it would be analagous to 'bebe' which is pronounced 'bay-bay'.
Guess what I'm getting at is why exactly are other people's incorrect pronunciations 'ridiculous' but 'mee-mee' isn't?
