Rune of Zeth vs Foul Gift of the Demon Lord (for Destruction)

I just picked up Foul Gift and was planning to keep it as a vanity item of sorts, but just for the sake of it I decided to equip it for a while and from I can see it's actualy a slight damage increase over Rune of Zeth.

I mean the Mastery proc essentially grants me 10% fire damage for 20 seconds and only has a short cooldown, plus it's got a decent amount of pasive Intellect.

Has anyone experienced in that Simcraft stuff compared these two for Destruction? Or has anyone done any sort of testing themselves?

Without being able to sim it right now i'd assume that the two would be very close in value to each other. If you're not using RoZ as close to on cooldown as possible that could also contribute to the differences you're seeing.
