Check your CE Pre-Orders Guys- Mas Cancelations Occuring.

We will investigate this issue ASAP, although we may not have further details to share before Monday.

I obviously cannot speak on behalf of any retailer, however I would like to let people know who have pre-ordered and redeemed their pre-order code, that their Early Game Access is still secured. You may apply any Game Code from any edition of The Old Republic to your account.

As I said, we'll look into this ASAP and update you when we can.

Well I checked my CE order from Amazon and it's still showing that it's intact, I hope it stays that way, that would be a kick to the gut if they go "lol nope, no CE for you". I'm glad Bioware is looking into this, hopefully they can find something out.

I didn't know you could pre-order it anywhere other than Origin at first and then Gamestop. Me personally, I did the Origin Pre-Order forever ago and now I'm just praying I have my new computer up and running for when it comes out.

Well if they do that with my 1st day pre-order, i think il sue them.. Ive been waiting for what 7 years to get the sequel to the Kotor series, dont you try to piss me off!

When they even said that you only purchase the game through origin and you launch and update it outside of it, I don't really see the issue here unless you're after the big fancy CE. If not, then what are you wasting your time on having a hard copy of a game for?

Ok so I thought when I checked my account balance today it was a bit odd that I saw roughly 150 bucks into my account. I thought, cool bank error I just made some cash. But now I'm just confused, I go into my statements on bankofamerica.com and I see that I was charged for the CE but it also appears that there was indeed an error or some type of return on it I suppose but it doesn't show as a + on my account, simply all numbers from there on out are changed as if I never purchased the CE of SWTOR. Anywho I log onto swtor and it still shows that my account that I made is designated as a CE pre-order.

Also I ordered from bestbuy.com. Anyone able to make sense of this? I suppose it looks like I'm either A. Walking away with a free CE B. Got my item returned but it just doesn't reflect on bioware's end?

11:58 PM 12/3 Update:
So it looks like my pre-order is still in tact but it does appear there was funny business going on behind the scenes. Since again I was at one point charged but bank of america decided to retract it (Again I did available bal checks before and have the text messages from their service to validate that I wasn't just making a mistake on that part). The order is still "processing" and the fine print by bestbuy is that I won't be charged until the item is confirmed to be available me at store. So in conclusion the funny business is that I was charged before, it was refunded and now is on pending.

Also I guess it is still indeed processing my charge to my account, I still also can see that I have the game pre-ordered via origin

P.S to anyone who has dealt with bestbuy.com before
Would they have given me the pre-order code to redeem if they hadn't charged me yet? Because I do have that code... and I wouldn't think you could just order 3214234 pre-orders, burn the codes, cancel the orders.

Mine got cancelled as well. I'm thinking/praying that the problem might be that Walmart tried to ship them today to get them out by the 15th, but they haven't actually received them yet, causing the system to cancel everyone's preorders because they're "out of stock." The main reason I'm holding out hope that this is all just a mix up is the physical preorder cards they sent that specifically say they're for the CE. Because Walmart didn't print those out themselves, and I'd like to believe that EA/Bioware wouldn't just print up and distribute ten times as many of them as they knew they were going to release.

I already had this issue with Wal-Mart/Bioware about my pre-order slip being delivered to me without a code printed. That was quickly resolved by a tech at Bioware. So let's see them fix this one.

well..... just checked my gamestop acct and its still open for shipping, BUT to be safe i did a pre-order on Newegg so if 1 gets canceled at least i have a 50/50 chance

this is a REALLY bad harsh blow to all you BB and walmart guys, sorry that this happend to you.

Why am I not suprised that Walmart would fuck up like this? I have had so many issues with them in the past I could write a book about it.
The thing I don't understand is that they are also cancelling some standard edition pre-orders in addition to CEs. That is what boggles my mind the most. I mean it's just a standard edition. Surely there should be enough of them since it will be THE edition everyone will be selling come launch day.
