EDITEDIT: I have gotten my achievement, however this thread can be used for other people to ask for help/gripe about how long it's taking them. My achievement was gained through my just giving up and hitting the "Dismount" whenever. No jumping, no teleporting, no summoning, pure randomness - sidenote, I landed almost on the lower edge of the ring and got it (Blood Elf Female). I had landed on people who had gotten it and people have landed on me and gotten it, so not sure what other people did that I didn't. Go figure.

I have been landing smack dab in the middle for 100+ tries at this point. I've tried the jumping technique, I've tried tweaking which way my character is facing. I hear reports this thing is bugged, does anyone have any feedback on how to perhaps "unbug" it for a character? Do you need to jump until you get it (no matter how long it takes)? Anything?

First time I tried it I got a Bullseye, 5 points and the buff.

I clicked off the wings just after passing the dock edge, maybe you're just missing it but it worked perfectly fine for me.

get a warlock buddy to summon you at the bullseye then accept the summon mid flight. Bam! Instant achievement.

I'm starting to think it's either bugged or just a little messed up. I'm positive I've hit it perfectly at least once, but I've yet to get the achievement. At one point I even sat in the ring and watched a friend drop down to it, and from what I could see she was right in the middle, but she didn't get the achievement either.

Definitely going to try the summon thing.

Try using a transformation item. I landed what seemed like the precise middle twice and didn't get it. Did naga transformation and definitely didn't land in the center and still got it. Several people in my guild were doing similar things and worked for them.

I remember that when I got it I landed slightly before the center, don't really see a problem and I am sure there is no bug.

I also heard you can have a priest life grip you into the middle of it. I haven't tried this method though.

With all the exploit talk lately this probably isn't the best way to do it. Using a warlock summon would specifically circumvent the mechanic in question. While I have not been able to achieve this on my tauren druid. I have achieved it on a blood elf and troll. I'm thinking the size of the character is what is the issue. I have reported this to Blizz but waiting on a response. Of course with all the talk of cheating and exploiting I'm not holding my breath for an answer.

I've hit exact middle 20+ times and near it over 50 times. I tried the warlock teleport thing and that definitely doesn't work as they put in a stun when the wings go off. Tried inviting people to set up a stone for myself but no-go. I'll try and use my naga item.

Start jumping the moment you hit water..worked like charm for me after not being rewarded for like 5 perfect hits.

As far as I can tell, you have to end up in the middle of it while underwater. If you hit the middle of it at the surface you will still travel forward a little bit and out of the exact middle.

I am going to ask an obvious question here, but hey, it may help. Are you sure you have taken the quest? I think you can only get the achievement when you are on the quest?

I've been doing the jumping thing as well. The Naga thing unfortunately, did not work for me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Someone just landed on top of me and got it.

I got the achievement after I had already turned the quest in so you definitely do not have to be on the quest to get it.

Landed in the middle again, on top of someone who had just gotten theirs. I got red text "That spell has not been learned yet". What? Hahaha. Nope, no cheev.

WELL. FINALLY GOT IT. Landed further south than anyone else who got the achievement (I'm halfway between the middle of the "bullseye" and the bottom of the ring). I don't know what the frazz is up with this achievement but the best of luck to anyone who can't seem to get it to work. Just ... just keep on reaching for that rainbow kid.
