    Most gamers click. Most gamers pick up poor social habits especially in the FPS community. Most gamers form sentences about as well as sub-human neanderthals who finger paint depictions of deer on cave walls using their own shit. The typing and text speech is more hindering to a person than a benefit. Gaming in most avenues is a bad thing for the advancement of a person. People who think that their career is to be a You Tube super star by exploiting other gamers are beyond pathetic. Day9 is of course excluded because he's legit.

    Typing is probably the biggest one. In my keyboarding class I was typing 90-100 words a minute, whereas my friend who barely plays any video games was typing like 20 words. I actually got into an argument with one of my friends whom I met on WoW and it made me think alot about myself and I think I changed alot because of it, for the better I think. People say reflexes, but I don't really have anything to compare my reflexes with, because I've been playing video games since I was 5. I probably have better reflexes and hand-eye coordination than I would if I had never played video games, but I dunno. I remember Fallout 3 came out around the time I moved to a new school and I started talking to one of the kids at my school about it. After awhile I started hanging out with him and his friends and I made alot of new friends, so video games kinda helped turn an awkward situation into a pretty easy one.

    What you're noticing is that the sound is slightly out of synch with the picture. This happens sometimes because he records form a livestream. :P

    Too my extent... absolutely nothing other than typing skills... Everyone saying they have sharper reactions are bullshitting themselves. Gamers don't gain anything but entertainment when gaming. Stop trying to make gaming seem like it's better than the human eye can see... Gaming is a way to waste time and our ancestors would turn over in their grave if we actually thought gaming would increase any function.

    I've actually found that hand-eye co-ordination learned from gaming and typing considerable amounts while not looking at my keyboard has SERIOUSLY helped me when learning to drive.

    Then quit if it's so awful.

    MMOs are social games. Socialising is always a good thing. If you think all gaming is so awful, then why do you do it?
    Cho’Gall: Cairne Bloodhoof is dead? Did we kill him?
    Deathwing: No. The Grimtotems weakened him with poison, and then Garrosh accidentally hacked him to death with an axe during a heated political discussion.

    I'd be willing to blame the fact that I'm a miserable shut-in on gaming, but that probably isn't giving myself enough credit.

    About the only good things that came from it are a love of music and writing, along with time killing, I guess.

    Aside from the fact that you're wrong. Gaming has been used in many different ways to teach people how to fly airplanes, drive cars, and even train people for the military. Calling something a simulation is a glorified term for a video game. There were a few cases as well where doctors were suggesting parents buy their kids a Nintendo DS to help with motor skills and to improve vision in kids with lazy eyes and minor stigmatisms.

    I've learned most my management skills in my line of work from being a raid leader, I've learned that grammar and punctuation are key to success in everything, I've learned that stupid people are everywhere regardless of where you go, I've learned that patience is really a virtue we must all learn to value.

    I've also learned that people cry about video game design more than the economic state of their own countries.

    Nothing really changed. Was never into video games like sit in my room in the dark with hot pockets status for 24 hours. I was usually the one to drag my friends into the sunlight bahaha

    In two weeks, Skyrim has inspiered me to steal things (Thives Guild wtf!). Seriously, I actually learned a ''stealing'' skill from this, much like the one in the game. And after all, I'm a poor student (or a Dragonborn, either way it doesn't matter, money is low anyway), is'nt it moraly right to take something once in a while which I need, but dont really can afford spending money on? Many games put moral in focus, and I guess many people dont share my point of view on this. And then there's the consequenses(spelling?), what's the risk, am I gonna get away with it if I get caught, and what happends if I dont?

    By "need" do you mean like food because you are starving? In my psychology class we did a test where a guy whose wife is dying, but can't afford the medicine goes and steals the medicine from the pharmacy and most people said that they would've done the same thing. If it is a life and death situation, then I believe that stealing is justified, but if it's something you don't need, then it is morally wrong.

    I work in a pretty brutal job sometimes, so having a thick skin due to years of dealing people on WoW has helped me in situations where I could have been goaded into beating someone up, or worse.

    I'm also an amazing typer, to the point where people are stunned how fast I can work with computers.

    No it's not like starving, and no one I know is dying, for that matter. But let me make you a scenario;
    I'm saving money for my driving license, I'm 19 years old and live far from my family to go to college, and I got a really tiny appartment, with only my schoolarship and part-time job to finance the whole thing. I get across something in a store which I really like, let's say some gloves or a cheap headset. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would say that an average guy would not think about a ''5-Finger-Discount'' in this situation. It's not like it's gonne be missing, not even noticed.

    Let's take another one;
    You see an old lady drop some money on the ground while you're waiting behind her in the store. Would you pick upp the money and give them back to her? Or keep them for yourself? She might have little money, but chances are bigger there's more where it came from.

    First one, not exacly morally right, I can admit that, but in my eyes, wery tempting. Second one, I would keep the money.

    I believe it's morally wrong either way, but most honest and good people will still do it, if the situation justifies it. Example. Stealing a chocolate bar. Could just be someone thats hungry and doesn't want to wait til they get home. Could be a diabetic that is having an attack and will likely die without it. Theft is theft. But saving a life justifies it. Some people would still take action on that person.

    Aside from typing skills, I can, 100% honestly say, gaming has taught me many new words, simply because during an argument, I'll have no clue what a word may mean, and check good ol' dictionary.com.
