PC Performance is bad.

Alright, so I have played many games, some have strained my PC more then others.
However, RIFT seems to strain it the most.
Certainly, playing on ultra (60 FPS) in both BF3 MP/SP and Skyrim says that my PC ain't the worst around.

Sanctum - 30 fps max.
Solo'ing in different zones , 45 max
20 man raids - 15 fps max
invasion bosses.. - 4 fps.

Anyone have any idea on WHY RIFT is so bad with performance, or ways to improve it, without making it look like utter crap?

That has like 14 pages of people playing around trying different stuff.

I get the slow downs during Ember Isle invasions, but that is all server side. I would keybind "hide other players" . Turn off "other players spell effects" under interface also.

Damn, I guess I never looked at my interface enough. Didn't know you could turn that stuff off. Will be using that now for massive invasions. Thanks for the heads up

I didn't think about making a profile of sorts in my Nvidia control panel and have noticed a nice difference in massive invasions. That's the only time I get any crappy fps issues. He didn't correct it in his post but the triple buffering and vsync should be off. You can always try them on to see if there is a difference.
