I don't understand. I'm not allowed to root for teams in sporting events? That sounds like a law in North Korea

You are. However, you are actually rooting against a team, that is rather sad.

However (again), you can do whatever makes you feel better ;-)

I'll be really jealous if Memphis wins since Knicks couldn't win so I want Memphis to lose.
Spurs are pro I hope they win.
I DO NOT want Indiana to win.
I'll take a Miami win if it means that Memphis/Indiana loses. But otherwise I want Spurs/Knicks to win.

Get your Conference Finals Predictions in now guys!

I'll put up some tentative predictions right now.
Memphis in 7....? Spurs are pro but Memphis...Nvm I'll choose Spurs in 6.
Miami in 6 against Knicks (maybe 5, depends on lucky 3s).
Miami in 7 against Pacers...? Pacers will steal at least 2 games. Nvm. Miami in 6.

UHH man I gotta go with my Spurs so I say Spurs in 6
If Miami plays Nicks I'm going to say Miami sweeps (sorry blue but Knicks are not good)
If Miami plays Indiana and Hill can't play Miami in 5 if he does play Pacers in 6

  5. #3625
Pretty boring as a mavs fan BUT

  6. #3626
Going to say Spurs in 7.

    Miami/Knicks- Miami in 5
Miami/Pacers- If Hill is 100%- Miami in 7
If Hill can't play or is limited- Miami in 5

The Pacers are the tougher draw because they can play mismatches against the Heat inside and play defense at least as well as a team. If Hill can't go, that makes an already offensively limited team even more so. I just don't think they can win 4 games without a number two option. The Knicks are a scarier team because if Melo and JR Smith get hot, they just shoot the Heat out of the building. Every bullshit bad shot they take goes in. They can't play defense though, and if the shots aren't falling they have an atrocious half court offense. Also, they aren't a great rebounding team, which is another place you can really hurt the Heat.

The Memphis/Spurs series should just be a bloodbath. Should be a good watch though. I think experience wins out and I think San Antonio is playing like they want to give Timmy a crack at (likely) one last title.

    *fights back tears*

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that now me and Skars are tied in our prediction game for round 2. So once again my god like clairvoyance let me see into the future. The bad news is ./cry WHY DID THE KNICKS HAVE TO LOSE.

In the third quarter Knicks just dropped 3s and came back, but end of 4th HORRIBLE possessions and turnovers made them lose. Damnit. Refs helped Indiana a little and Indiana took WAY more free throws, a little of that was because Knicks defense sucked, but still refs played favorites a little.

    Tomorrow is Spurs vs. Memphis.

  9. #3629
Spurs/Memphis is tough but I will go Spurs in 7 to get their revenge from the 1 vs 8 matchup when Spurs lost.
Heat/Pacers id say Pacers can steal a game or 2, ill give them 2. Heat in 6.

Oh nice Arq. I'm in Florida away from my desktop and it was annoying to type it all out.

As I said, I won. Me and Skars had highest scores. Conscript got fucked for overestimating the Knicks (after, at the beginning of the season, he ironically insulted them every chance he could).

If Memphis wants to even try to win the series or a couple of games they gotta defend the 3 if not they are going to lose every game.

    Both series go to seven.

    Spurs win.

    PACERS win.

Yes, I'm going out on a major limb here. Why not.

Pendulous you must be typing from a tablet or smartphone and it must have autocorrected "Miami Heat" to "PACERS" for some reason. You should get that fixed.

Na. I figure that what I predict is usually wrong anyway, might as well do it on purpose.

Vinny Del Negro and the Clippers have parted ways. It's surprising at one hand, but not so much on the other.

    Ya ya w.e.

OMG guys its the draft lottery tonight. I didn't look at the math or I'd play with you guys.

Uhhhms. It's in New York so lol I wish I could go (even though its a little boring and you don't actually get to see the balls get picked). Just FYI I'm in Florida now with grandparents for a bit before I stay at University of Florida so I miss the lotto and the actual draft.
