Cripes, that was a crazy fun game to watch. I am going to have to get tickets to a Kings game or two this year. They should have scored more points with some of the looks they had, but played excellent defense in the fourth quarter. GO KINGS!

I meant from last year. If we go back three years that was the famed "bench mob" that deluded bulls homers said was the best bench in the lague until Miami crushed them, then suddenly poor baby Rose had no help. I find it humerous you think Dunleavy is better then KK.

What is different? They have no second scorer. They have no second creator and they went from KK to Marco to Dunleavy, which is a downgrade imo for the one stand still 3 point shooter that always have. They outwork and outhustle most teams in the regular season and play very good defense. In the playoffs that outwork/outhustle thing goes away and you see the same old bulls, a good defensive team that struggles to score.

So what you're arguing is that Nate Robinson is as good as or better than Derrick Rose? That' can't be what you mean. 2 years ago, before Derrick got hurt, I and many others thought they had a good chance at winning the East. We'll never know because of Derrick's injury.

If you're talking about the team that lost to the Heat in the Ecf 3 years ago. They've kept the same players or upgraded at every position except back up center. Kieth Bogans coudn't give the Bulls the offense that they think Jimmy Butler will. Kyle Korver had a bad series, and honestly he wasn't very good that year. I think Dunleavy is an upgrade. He looks like a lot better defender and shooter than Korver was that year. Kirk Heinrich is a lot better than CJ watson. I'll never forgive Watson for passing to Asik to lose that Philly series. Loul deng was playing hurt if i recall correctly. In that series he had a bad wrist that needed surgery he never got. He looks healthy this year, and he's in his contract year. I expect him to be as good or better than ever. Taj Gibson played poorly last year, but he looked really good in the preseason, and they're expecting him to improve. Boozer is playing better offensively and defensively and hasn't been injury prone. Noah, well if there's one player I trust to be there when the games matter it's going to be him.

Of course the problem you point out is Lebron shutting down Derrick at will. He did it in Cleveland He did it in Miami. When they put Lebron on Derrick. Derrick will have to play better than he did 3 years ago. I think he can. I think his team mates like Butler and Dunleav can give the Bulls more scoring than Bogans and Korver did. I think Heinrich can play better than Cj Watson.

That's why I think the Bulls are better now. The team is still built the same, but they have made some slight upgrades at almost every position.
The key will be to get and stay healthy. If they do that I think they got a chance.

I think Indiana is probably a better matchup against Miami because Hibbert is so much better offensively than Noah. So it's entirely possible that the Pacers beat the Heat in the 2nd round and the Bulls don't even have to face them. We'll see how it goes.

If Boozer plays like he did inside the Bulls I believe would win in a series since Derrick and the rest of the shooters should be more in rythem at that time. If Miami wants to pressure the shit out of Rose thats fine, Bulls simply have to make them pay for it which will usually be with Boozer. Regardless win/loss close game/blowout when its this early its hard to really look ahead and see whos gonna be the best. I did see things I liked tho, Rose looked explosive and fearless, he slashed hard and was jumping off what was his bad leg and Butler looked even more improved to be a solid offensive contributor as well as a defensive specialist. So I still feel pretty good about everything.

Its crazy Houstons big men got 40 rebounds. Theyre both so big and slow I need to watch how they operate I feel you could abuse them so hard with a quick or ranged power forward to the point they couldnt play Asik at all unless they wanted to give Howard rest.

Yes, I know it's a tough concept to grasp that just because they shot poorly in Miami doesnt mean they will for the rest of the season.....

I'll give you Dunleavy. Snell will be lucky to get any minutes.

Deng 33% career 3 point shooter
Rose 30% career 3 point shooter
Butler 36% career 3 point shooter
Hinrich 37% career point shooter

First of all, Snell will get minutes. Second of all, shooters dont necessarily have to be shooting 3s. Third of all, are you posting those percentages because you think they are bad or something? Those are all solid shooters numbers... Lebron is a 33% career 3P shooter and Wade is a 29%. The Bulls aren't the Golden State Warriors but those numbers are certainly fine to call those guys shooters. I'll also add that Rose was a 22% and 26% 3P shooter in his first 2 years, 33% and 31% in his second 2 years so he's obviously greatly improved there and the career 30% is definitely not indicative of where he is at right now.

Unless you think "shooter" is only the elite 40%+ from 3 guys like Curry, Allen, etc. Which is stupid because there are only a handful of guys like that in the league, period.

As a team 2 years ago, which is the closest team to today's team because Rose was there and there wasn't Nate or Marco who compiled a lot of stats last year, the Bulls were tied for 3rd in the league with 37.5% from 3. KK obviously led the team, but you can just picture his stats as Dunleavy's (which that year they were actually pretty close). The rest were Deng, Rose, and Watson (now Hinrich).

So I'm not really sure what you are implying by asking "what shooters?" and then posting those solid stats.

I still don't understand, so you're saying those percentages you linked are bad? The best ever, Ray Allen, is only at 40% for his career. Or are you saying those Bulls players don't attempt enough shots so they can't be considered "shooters"? I'm really confused as to what point you're making.

As for snell you do know your coach hates playing rookies right?

In his first game ever, against the Heat, he played 7 minutes. Granted it was because Luol got in foul trouble early, but it's not like that can't happen again. If he continues to work hard on defense he should average around 10 minutes a game, more if there is an injury to Deng or Butler.

Yes LOL of course we're assholes. Do you not get that vibe from me every time I post here? New York is pretty hard core. Owners told coaches "I expect a title this year." That's like. Knicks roster is probably only "on paper" 7th or so best in the league.
