Should I get this game or not?

If you'r into doing the same thing as in WoW, but with less of everything, then its probably not a good choice. MMO stays MMO

@OP: Depends on if you are willing to pay for two games or not. If you are bored with 4.3 after a week, just imagine how you are going to feel for the next six months or so until MoP is actually out. beta testing is fun, but it is not a fulfilling experience, especially when it won't start for another 4 months or more, as nothing you do in beta will hold over to the real game. More or less beta will be a sightseeing tour for most people that get into it. If you are bored with WoW you should certainly try out SWTOR, but it really only comes down to if you are financially willing to do it.

This. And don't forget there's no guarantee that MoP will be out in just 6 months.
I know Blizzard will want to release it fast because of the stiffer competition.
But I wouldn't expect it before sept. 2012, june at the earliest.
And that's 7-9 months more of 4.3. Can you bear it? (I know I can't)

Also, beta can be a very bad idea.
I was in SWTOR general Beta and it almost killed the game for me.
Guess I was too serious with reporting bugs but it rapidly felt like work.
And it's very different from the actual game, especially regarding balance.

So be sure of what you want before you venture into MoP Beta.
Tor was my first beta and I won't ever do that again.
