Hey, so i just dinged my lock 85.. hes still crappy geared and still cant do heroics, i lvld him as demo, was pretty fun because of the AoE etc
But i want to set up a spec properly that i should use for grinding heroics etc.. What would you guys recommend ?

I'm no expert on Warlocks, but i do know that Affliction can be used in Both PvP and PvE doing excellent damage in PvE and Insane pressure in PvP - especially in arena.
Maybe not the best for PvE, but it's 100% the most versitile - and you don't want to restrict yourself to PvE OR PvP or you're gonna get bored ^^

Play the spec you enjoy the most. They pretty much all do the same dps in BIS.

With affliction, stuff in dungeons is gonna die before you even started (well that's exaggerated but you get me).

I'd go affliction. It's a fairly straightforward rotation and easy to do good dps. To me, Demo is just too dependent on gear/mastery.
But yeah, get your ilvl to 372 and just run LFR. It's a great way to test your dps and get some good gear.
