Put in a ticket for Hagara HM "Exploit"; here is the GM response.

    Ticket:

Hagara, especially on Hard Mode, is being exploited by multiple guilds across the world. Basically, any immunity, run speed, pvp trinket, or casting while moving once the ice bubble has solidified allows you to NEVER GET THE DEBUFF; however, it should constantly be pulsing to put the debuff on you, not just an initial check. My guild refuses to use this cheat, because we don't want to be banned, and because its not ethical. Can we expect a fix soon, in 4.3.2b or 4.3.3? What is Blizz's stance?

    Response:

As this is an issue that we have not seen previously, we will investigate, and though we cannot guarantee a direct response, we do appreciate the information and will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible. At this time, no action is being taken against players who use this strategy on Hagara within the Dragon Soul. Please do not hesitate to report any future issues to us.

And there you have it. Thoughts?

    Seems pretty standard.

I am surprised they even told you that no action will be taken at this time, this is typically information blizzard doesn't share.

Perhaps this is working as intended?

My thoughts are that there is already a large thread about this.

it's basically an automated response. Don't read anything into it

Who cares ,555 guilds killed it already and most of em probaly used that tactic.
Blizzards not gonna fix anything, just like at what they said at ragnaros hc,they dont want to make bosses harder but only nerf.
so if they gonna remove this we gonna have to progress on hagara again which is what they dont want and what they clearly showed by not implementing that fix for ragnaros hc where you could just stack in the frost patch in a triangle.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA yeah, typical blizzard. Wouldn't be too suprised if they would be like 'oh noes, another exploit in our perfect flawless design to help top guilds/casuals'. Ah well, no worry's, they will fix it. Some day. And if you wanna be a goodie 2 shoes, don't use the exploit while on the boss

No where do they confirm its an exploit or suggest others to not use it... I think its fair game to use the tactic at this point without being a cheater.

And by not buffing Yorsahj 10 man and nerfing the 25 man version. Cause that would make sense.

Let me fix this for you:
Hi, my guild is struggling to kill Deathwing on normal, and I am jealous and angry about guilds who clear hardmodes. They all are hackers and cheaters and what not, could you please ban them all?

    Clever use of game mechanics.

You do realise that even without the exploit of not taking damage from the debuff, it's still easy to outheal.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0iwK4zKTfE&hd=1&t=135

This is the vid of our kill, as you can see everyone that is inside of the bubble has the debuff and is taking damage. We use no cooldowns and don't struggle AT ALL to keep everyone topped. We did not know of the exploits regarding this encounter (taking no damage from the debuff) but on our 2nd time on that vid in the bubble, we noticed some people did not have the debuff and were not taking damage (myself included). Even with people not taking damage, it had little impact on the difficulty of the encounter.

I do agree this needs to be fixed, but I don't see why it's such a big deal - it's easily outhealable inside without exploiting it but banning guilds because of it? Ludicrous.

They were never going to do anything about it anyway. If anything they'll fix the immunity, but as stated before healing through it is a joke anyway.

You're obviously wrong, of course. It's an exploit, clear as day. Standing in the bubble is supposed to remove 10% of your maximum health per second.

Whether or not it will be fixed is another question. It's safe to assume that no one will be punished for using the exploit, but that doesn't make it any less of an exploit.

The same thing worked with Nef's lava in P2, this is a common error, they didn't fix it then, i dont see them fixing it this time either.

By the sheer amount of abilities that prevent the damage I have a somewhat hard time to believe they didn't know. But well whatever to be fair that encounter is quite bad anyways.

I don't expect a fix, either, but the issue is much larger for Hagara than it was for Nef. First of all, you didn't want to be sitting in the lava on Nef, even if it wasn't damaging you. Second, the entire raid can have the Hagara debuff removed by simply having a druid cast a single spell. It wasn't a problem on Nef, but it is on Hagara.

How do you use Stampeding roar? When everyone has the debuff or before? Does he have to be feral with that special talent?
    Does hand of freedom work?
