I make food for either tommorow or tonight depending on the circumstances. Im on the Fatman, so i get 1000+ all the time, which gives me enough time to do stuff like go grocery shopping as well. Its actualy quite nice, except for days like today where I work overtime. I get home at 7, log in right away, and dont get into the game till 9. considering I wake up for work at 5:45, I dont spend alot of time in game. The good news is that I only have to work during winter break.
O, and when all else fails, head to youtube and six degrees of su-su-sudio for an hour
Einstien trolled Newton so hard with general relativity
I get something to eat and also get around a 1hours sleep. Basicly the queue is usualy over 2hours long.
I like to login then go and do the following normally:
Change out of work clothes, make dinner, load up league and play a game, look at EQDaily while I wait for everyone in the match to load. After that match go and back to EQD and watch/listen to content linked there and then play TOR. Also halfway in there my gf puts something good on the TV while she waits. So all in all it gives me time to wind down some before I start playing. Also I play on Warriors of the Shadow.
Yesterday, came home from work, entered TOR - 608 Queue..prepared dinner with my girlfriend, ate it, came to the room and whoa - i am 1st in the queue.... Easy) just get some Real life and queue will fly away
Actually did my laundry instead of being unhygenic and wear the same pair of underwear in rotations. Being able to do some chores instead of being a nerd and going to the pc to play games all night after getting home.
I think Bioware should keep the queues! Gives some time to do other stuff :P
I cry a lot.It helps...
i'm looking at the queue and hopeing the nubs that joined my standard server die in a fire
I come home, log on, get in queue. Then I do my normal "just got home" routine. Or I check my regular websites and such. Or I log on WoW, and do a daily or two (cooking and fishing usually), and a few other things. I run dual monitor though, so it's easy for me.
My queue is exactly the same amount if time as a quick LoL Dominion match - perfect.
Luckily my server doesn't seem too heavily afflicted with queues, but it gets them every so often. When it happens I generally fire up WoW and chat to my guildies: unfortunately not too many of them have come over to SWTOR, or were waiting for the official launch and now find they can't buy it anywhere.
The other options are to go spend some time with my girlfriend, or play Angry Birds on my iPhone.
My queue isnt that bad anymore (about 100 in line, tops) so i just alt tab and read some news for a couple of minutes.
Well sometimes I just watch videos at YouTube but I have studied too during that time.
If I'm queuing as a tank for instances, sit and wait for 2 seconds. If I'm queuing as tank for LFR read threads or troll trade. If I wanna blow 8min and watch some thing funny, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hPU9Ru1ftw
The nintendo 3DS store got The Legend of Zelda : Minish Cap free for the ambassadors. I downloaded it and every time queue i play it. Good time pass.
read channelfireball posts to satisfy my inner nerd
