    Minecraft payment help.

So, I am in the process of buying Minecraft, and I get an error when I try to purchase it with a credit card.
    The message is as follows:
You can not use your credit/debit card for the next 24 hours.
This restriction cannot be lifted manually by you or our service team. Please return to the website of the Merchant where you will receive further instructions.

I've gone through endless forum posts on obscure websites, but none of it is helpful.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
    Or eve why it's happening?

Have you waited 24 hours and tried again?

No. It was curious because it gave me that on the first attempt.

There's no way to know absolutely what it could be.

That being said, I worked billing for EA for a bit, including support of some subscription websites. Chances are 1. You put in wrong info the first time, and your bank is blocking any further authorization attempts from Minecraft or 2. You put in your info fine, but your bank flagged minecraft as not super trustworthy.

Wait 24 hours, try it again, then contact minecraft if it continues to fail.

I'm honestly a little shocked that people pay for Minecraft.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

The only time I have ever received some sort of message like that is because I put the CVV number in wrong, or I have used my card more then I usually do and the bank has put a block to ensure it is not fraud.
I love you forever and ever and then some times two

Pirating is illegal. But I'm not buying because Notch is such a tool, honestly he made a really interesting game (that's basically a bugfest) that people love, then thinks he's the king of game development.

That would be because those people deem it worthwhile purchasing. If it's fun there's no reason not to, really.

I called the server that handles Mojang-related transaction, and interestingly enough, the server tries to withdraw euros from your card as opposed to USD.
I fixed it by paying with through paypal. Hope this helps anyone in need.
