[Movies] I just watched the Shawshank Redemption

...and it was the best movie I have ever seen in my entire life.

What's the best movie you've ever seen, MMO-Champion?

Also, we most certainly weren't the most op in S9. Dk's were a better warrior in every aspect. Thanks for trying though.

Many great movies out there: too hard for a singular best imo.

The Green Mile is up there.

I had a boyfriend who got me to watch that movie with him. Ditched the boyfriend, kept the movie.

Aye, the Green Mile, Fight Club, the new Batman reboots and the LotR trilogy are also some of my favorites.

    Haven't seen fast five, yet.

I did like Captain America, sure you could say it was maybe somewhat corny, but I still enjoyed some of the morals and virtues displayed by the main protagonist. Yeah, he's fictional, but Captain America is a fictional paragon of what more people should be like.

I don't care if it isn't real. It's still inspiring, and it still gives some people something they could look up to.

These are all great answers and I agree, but come on... Braveheart needs a mention!

    The Grand Canyon.
I don't argue to be right, I argue to be proven wrong. Because I'm aware that the collective intelligence of the community likely has more to offer to me by enlightening me, than I do to an individual by "winning" an argument with them.

If I have to pick just one movie, based solely on the merrits of that movie and not as a series of movies, I think I have to pick Fight Club. It's one of the few movies that you can not truely appreciate unless you see it multiple times. There are so many different little hints and clues to catch that once you watch it a few times and notice them all you almost want to smack yourself in the head for not catching it the first time.

Yep, Shawshank Redemption is a brilliant film.

Law Abiding Citizen is another good one, and my favourite film of all time is Point Break.
