So it seems that whenever I go to a large webpage like an image blog, or even MMO Champion's main page, that tab will just completely freeze for 4-6 seconds. Every time. Even on my new SSD with fresh Windows and fresh Chrome with no extensions, it still freezes every time I go to the main page.
What could be causing this? It's highly frustrating to have the tab freeze on image-heavy/large pages.

I think it might be a bug with the recent version of Chrome, because I've noticed a large number of hangs recently too.
