The MotionPlus actually makes the Wii's motion controls pretty solid and interesting.

It's just a shame that Nintendo has adopted the "Hey, our games are fun. I agree. I'm very interested to see where video gaming goes over the next decade.

The way I see it, we're at a cross-roads right now. Gaming can go one of two ways. Heavy motion-control based systems, or nothing but compact and portable handheld systems, including crap like iPhones.

I miss those days...

Yeah, because if Demos were still around, we'd know a game is shit before buying it, and developers would need to actually work on more than just the graphics.

I don't enjoy motion control games in general.

Probably another 13 times. I was hoping for a new Wii system this last E3 and then they had to sell us a tablet that can play some of our games, but only when we are near our Wii.

I hope it's not the latter. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed my GB handheld, but there is something about playing Rock Band or whatever on a huge TV without the need for some extra cord that I plug into it.

But that's the thing. If consoles get phased out in favor of small, portable handheld systems, I imagine you'd get the option to wirelessly connect that device into your TV and play on that.

Either way, we've certainly got an interesting future ahead of us for gaming. (Hardware-wise, at least. I'm a bit scared about what's gonna happen to actual gameplay and plot)

Considering I'm trying to work for the man, he's made it clear that he doesn't want me.

I am crossing my fingers for ya', mate. I really hope you find a good job - You really deserve a good one after all this shit you have been through.
But if you are getting a job at WallMart or something similar, wouldn't you be able to still seek a job that you like, and just work at WallMart untill an opportunity arises?

Yes and no. Yes, in that it is TECHNICALLY possible that such a situation could arise, and no for two reasons.

1. I fucking hate looking for a job, it involves lying about yourself and treating yourself like a sleazy car salesman does his cars. I really wouldn't want to be working full time, and doing that shit on top of it.
2. I'm not a particularly desirable candidate now. If I was, I'd be employed. My desirability will only decline with time. So, considering that Walmart will not be giving me any experience in my field, my already low chances of finding a job in my field will continue to diminish until they're next to 0. I know this, it's just come to the point where I no longer give a fuck.
