I think that Kalmah is also very underrated band just like Tyr and they are amazing melodeath band.
    For example:

I have thought about it for a while, and decided

maudlin of the Well - Bath
    Protest the Hero - Kezia
Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations
    Tiamat - Wildhoney
    Opeth - Blackwater Park

In any order... I could easily put another 15 albums that are on par with most of these :/ Metal = win.

EDIT: I've also listened to St. Anger probably 20 times since it came out... I can't take it at all.. it is, in my eyes, one of the worst efforts that a band has ever put forth having already had great success.

probably some blind guardian, limbonic art, ensiferum, dissection and SYL stuff too but it's only 5 albums so whatever
OMG Bolt Thrower. I'm not an aficionado of metal, but I remember that album being advertised in White Dwarf and inside some of their hardcover rulebooks for Warhammer. They were almost the official band of Games Workshop and must have been among the first to mix music and gaming culture.

I own all their albums, and have seen them live. I find them enjoyable, but not remarkable. And I can safely say that Amon Amarth by FAR the better band.

As for In Flames, I like them through Colony, but not top 5 worthy. Clayman was the beginning of the end(I have no clue how anyone didn't know what was coming next after hearing Clayman) and everything since then has been bland and forgettable. There's been a good song here and there, but NONE of the post-Colony albums have been actual good albums for me.

Since ocean machine is devin's band and biomech is the name of the album.

The cover art, however, says Devin Townsend and Ocean Machine, then Biomech. And it's simply tagged as Ocean Machine (the album) on websites like last.fm so.. Fix'd anyway.

this is way too difficult to do for me
i'll just stick with too many to accurately list

"Also, can I just say that I think AOC would absolutely fucking annihilate Greene if Greene ever dared take an actual swing at her?" -- The state of the MMO-C circlejerk.

    Your opinion > everyone else?

Personally I don't like metallica but I definitely think they are worthy of many peoples top 5 albums.
