I really miss the good ol' days.
When our toys were sturdy. When hand-me-downs meant something.

I remember having a Voltron toy made of solid metal (looking back it was probably made of steel). I used to throw it out my window and then run down the stairs to the yard to pick it up and do it all over again. It never broke once.

Kids these days have no idea how awesome it used to be and how easy their lives have become.

The stuff they watch is just dumbed down versions of what we used to watch, made palatable for easy consumption.

I remember when things used to mean something. When effort was required.

When our toys were sturdy. When hand-me-downs meant something.

The new stuff is just so tepid and uninteresting.

I'm sure all our parents thought something similar whenever they saw us watching our childhood shows as kids. Nonetheless I still agree with you on that statement ^..^.

Nothing brings me back to my childhood more than this, oh the hours I spent as a wee little one running around Kakariko, pretending Link was cutting the villager's grass for money(rupees), getting up before my mom with my brother and sister to play, while eating chocolate donuts.

I would say DBZ is a major point of nostalgia for me, but I'd be lying, because I still watch DBZ to this day. Which I suppose is obvious if you so much as glance at my sig or spend more than 5 minutes with me.

So I will simply say this, Toonami was boss, and I do get a little nostalgic when I think of it.

Cartoons these days are shit. Except for Ben 10. That's ok-ish.

And yet somehow the kids of today still enjoy the cartoons of today, and when they're older will call the new cartoons "Shit"

I mean, it's almost as if a full grown man can't get into a kids cartoon he's never seen before, but that can't possibly be it, it must be just shit.

indeed, I lost track how much money was spent on all those bionicles.

and as far as games, this. lumbridge was the area for starting off...and dueling. lots of that, since it was where players respawned.
