Unbind 'submit ticket / help center' Hotkey

So I have a problem with the § key (This is intended for european keyboards/layouts, don't actually know how US keyboards/layouts are affected).
The problem is that I cannot for some reason unbind it. Every time I use it, by mistake or if I try to rebind something else to that key the submit ticket/help center window pops up! It just seems so foolish to put that function on that key! A key which is almost always used to bind a useful ability to it.

Am I the only one with this issue because I haven't seen another post regarding this or seen anyone else complaining/seeking advice about it. I just feel I can't be the only one with this problem.

Perhaps I've made a mistake and it can actually be changed then please, enligthen me!

It's not only you, I too have that problem. And it's quite annoying since it's a really good key.

This has been addressed by Bioware, and there will be a fix for it in a near future (tm).

It is a known issue. There was atleast one thread on it back in beta, many people have it.

I also have the same issue!

I have the same problem. I use the key to auto urn normally, so had to bind auto run to shift and that key. >:

What key is §? On my german keyboard that would be Shift+3 :/

What my problem ingame is that I simply cannot bind anything to the < key (the one between left shift and y/z) which I use regularly in every other game

I think § would be ^ on a German keyboard - at least that's one of the key's I'd like to bind but can't since it's bound to customer support -.-

I use to have auto run on § but since this issue isn't getting fixed it seems , i'm now using the mouse wheel button as auto run

The key to the left of the keys 1 & z both cannot be bound by various people. I think it varies depending on locality.

Say what, the key to the left of the '1' is ` for me..

And there ain't even anything to the left of my 'z'.

What are these keys you are on about

I know that for my version (US), the ticket key is "\" and can't be rebound. Kind of annoying since that was my auto run key in WoW.

Bind that key to Chat scrolldown. It's not a fix, circumvents the accidental popup issue a bit.

For me (Norwegian), the key besides 1 is |. As in a straight line upwards.

This is also a problem for me.

With a german keyboard layout and the english client I can bind the green key, but not the red one:

I find it really annoying that we can't bind either of them. I've been reporting it since beta and they seemed to ignore it. I've reported it a few times since release aswell.

Hoping something comes of it soon, as I used the ` for four keybinds in WoW(with modifiers), I'd like to do the same here, and \ not been able to be bound to a quickslot is annoying for the same reason.

I presume you mean the key to the left of '1' and above 'tab'? Yeah, that doesn't do anything in my game. My 'help centre/create new ticket' shortcut, for some reason, is '\' (next to the left-hand shift)...

One thing I'd REALLY like to unbind is right-click... by default it changes the direction of your character and camera, as fairly standard in an MMO, but also for some completely unknown reason slot 1 of the default toolbar...!?
