More like, WoW is designed to be a comic book-like game, and villains and heroes always return from being defeated in comics because they're popular. Still, this only occurred for a handful of characters (unless you count Naxx, but that's a whole other issue that goes beyond simply reusing characters), and if that kind of thing seriously affects one's quality of life while playing a video game then I don't really have any comment. Cata reused 2-2.5 bosses from what I recall, and those that were reused were throwbacks to the first two tiers of WoW.
Anyway, BW already uses a boss twice on Sith side (Foundry and False Emperor). Oh, and the last boss of Foundry disappears in a flash- no corpse! It's probably not a coincidence that these happen to be two popular characters in the KOTOR universe.

Oh let me count the ways with WoW boss recycling:
* First occurrence was with Kael'thas - 2x and the introduction of what seemed to be a Blizzard strategy in the dialog of KT and the oft quoted: "Tempest Keep was merely a set back"
* Nefarian - 2x
* Onyxia - 3x
* Anub'arak - 2x .... within the same x-pac cycle, talk about bizarre
* Blood Prince Valanar - 2x went from dead in a dungeon to dead in the final ICC raid
Then you get the pinnacle of recycling in WoW with the Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub conversion from raids to 5 man dungeons with an entire patch theme around it. Talk about a dilution of the story, I still don't get that one and I played them both in the original and then after.
This demonstrates how thin and old the WoW story is. I appreciate them trying to breathe new life into the story with MoP but that one sent me over the edge on continuity. But coming back to the original subject of TOR end game content. The point is comparisons to WoW end game from a story point of view are hands down going to favor TOR. That is what they built this game to do BTW, no surprise.
I didn't want to play a game that was so easy that it has been beaten in less then a month. Leveling was suppose to take 100+ hours to max level. At 8 hours a day that should take 12.5 days to max level. I suppose there are people privileged enough to play that much but all content being beaten in less then a month???
You play WoW? Then you have no reason to complain. Fucking ridiculous. Just because some people who have dedicated hours upon hours - and mind you, these are people who are amazing at raiding and communicating with each other - of time on the content and have downed it, means that it's spoiled for you? How long is enough then? 2 months? 3 months? What's the fucking point?
And yeah, the exact same thing happens in WoW. It is rare that something isn't beaten within a month.
But honestly, what kind of a game do you want? By your criteria, there is NO god damn game out there good enough for you, because there will always be someone else who has beaten it.

I'm reporting you for baiting.
But I'll bite just in case you're not baiting and are just dense.
The game was "beaten" by a tiny percent of hard core raiders and they said the content had little to no room for error. If you think that speaks for the entire population/percent of gamers playing an MMO then you are sadly mistaken.
Enjoy your other games. If this is your reasoning to not play swtor then you already didn't want to play this game.
Why would you report someone for stating what they believe in?
I like difficult content in games. It's the challenge that makes it worth it all. To know there is something new that no one else has done yet sounds fun to me.
It's disappointing to me to see all content cleared in such a new game. If I were to make an MMO over many years it would take months to clear all content.
What you're asking for is content that is gated to the point that it would take months to farm the required items to do it. There is no way that a killable boss that isn't broken can stay alive for more than a month, as the people raiding them are pretty much professional raiders.
And grats on ignoring my post. Guess it was too much for you.
I had played wow in an end game raiding guild. I have plenty of reasons to complain. Do you really have to curse? Yes, a game that took this long should not be beaten in such a short time. It takes away from the epicness I was expecting. Why would I want to play a MMO that is beaten at such a fast pace? I could see if all content was cleared in say 3 months but in 3 weeks? Really?
Yes, in WoW current content is cleared in weeks after release but this game has had time for everyone to learn their class. Nothing is a surprise. SWTOR should have speed bumps for it's content for lasting enjoyment, I guess not.
Infracted. Stop trolling.

Um, please show me the statistics where more than 1% of the playerbase has cleared all bosses on Nightmare mode. Because for the other 99%, we still have our lasting enjoyment. Just because 1 or 2 guilds have killed all the bosses doesn't mean your experience is over.
The game isn't so stale and boring like WoW (in my opinion) that everything outside of raiding is strenuous and resentful. There are other aspects of the game, it's not just about logging on, joining raid, ending raid, and logging off.
I don't see why you expect content to take a long time. The people playing them are not idiots. If the bosses are killable, then they will be killed.

I don't expect a game to last 8 years for me to enjoy it. I don't fucking expect a game to get as many subs as Wow has for me to enjoy it. Let the masses have the dirt, I'll have the fruit. I'm not trying to find a game that is better than WoW. I'm trying to find a game that I enjoy, because I no longer enjoy WoW, and TOR is that game.
Please knock it off Naix (well when you get back from your ban). Stop trying to derail SWTOR threads by comparing them to WoW or by making stupid comments. You do it constantly. Just stay out of this section if this game offends you so much and go back to leveling your Hunter alt in WoW. Yes all the current content in SWTOR has been cleared by the best guilds in the world.True story, Cataclysm was "beaten" about a month after release by the best guild in the world. I don't see you whining about that. Say what you will about learning classes, but it isn't exactly rocket science to figure out how any MMO class works.
