War + ?

Never did Arenas. Love my war. Just want points for gear.

I know war's supposedly suck in arenas, but other than the obvious choice of a healer, are there any other classes anyone recommends for 2's with a war?

Du you mean Warlocks or Warriors? ^^
Check sites like Arenajunkies if you want to know what is "good" in these days. Obviously both of you should know what they are doing.
You can basically get to around 2k with any kind of combination, if it isn't 2 healers or something. Above that it might get difficult.

If you aren't going to 2s with a healer, you had better get a partner with lots of CC. (Rogue/Mage/Feral)

Also, I hope you enjoy never moving or having control of your character at all. Ever.
Because that is what you're going to get without a healer.

If you mean warrior me and my rogue friend seem to have a fun time killing some people. But we do get ripped by certain comps, still rogue and warrior seems good, at least to me. I guess the more CC the better if you're going without a healer. If you're going to pick a healer I'd have to suggest druid, purely cause they have some awesome CC too.
